Hey all, so I started my IM journey, thought I would start with trying to monetise some websites and also to sell my services as a writer. I am assuming this is the right place for this. If not apologies.

I am not a total newb but I think by trying to save money I have gone a little beyond my paygrade and could use some help.

I have purchased a domain and vps hosting through Dynadot and so far no complaints, however I am having trouble finding how to integrate or use wordpress or any other similar tools via the Santora hosting panel they provide. Following the support guide only goes so far due to it being outdated at a point and nothing correlating to the dashboard.

Now I have gone so far with all the MySQL and databases etc. I dont want to do more harm than good.

Does anyone have experience on how I can complete this? I just want a simple tube site, as this is more for practice in cpa and social networks than anything else.
So even any assistance on how to upload a website/builder to the vps and my domain would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, enjoy your Sunday

You probably should look for a managed solution if you dont understand how it works.

Usually provided panels have integrated apps, and usually includeing WP, you 'd better ask for the support of your vps for this
If no panels available, I suggest you install webmin panel

Hi mate! If you provide me your deadline I will try to help you.

Hey Guys, firstly HudsonWebServices - you are right, it I thought I was ready for the jump but obviously not there yet :)
CenterCB - yes there is an admin and module panel but the support documents are a little outdate so having trouble adding some, I have contacted the provider for a little assistance on that, I think that I will just need to finish on an HTML editor and then load them into the database (from what I understand).

Renfield-flies, thanks very much I thank I will be contacting you!

Cheers for that guys, have a good one

Hey OP if you still need a hand lemme know, I'll take a look at my free time, no charges :)

Good Luck.

I can offer my technical assistance for FREE as well if you still have a need for one. :)

Good to see members offering help free-of-charge. Reminds me of why BHW is such a great community.

If you aren't married to Dynadot for hosting and dont have any long term contract with them you may consider a host like interserver.net. They have powerful cloud VPS services for dirt cheap, and you can have cPanel for an small upsale, or they have Breadbasket for free which offers one-click WP install (and other platforms). Note: I don't have any affiliation with Interserver but send a lot of traffic to sites hosted on them, and their support it always extremely quick.

You can try serverpilot.io . It is free of chare and does the job. I am using it for my VPS. However i don't know if it is compatible with your provider since i am using it for digital ocean

I have never used Santora myself. Just took a look at the site and they really don't give much in site into the product. I am guessing that the host is using them to cut cost out and not use cPanel in which almost every major web host uses.

If their support can't help you out might be a sign to just move. If they can't help on a simple install what makes you think if something major goes wrong they will be able to fix that
