NOTE: if you are looking for sick n twisted methods to bank for yourself this journey might not be of your interest. This is more about me rambling and trying to keep myself organized and focused.

Alright alright. I'm trying to keep it short or this will take me the whole night.

    Background

I'm 24 years old, theoretically I'm a university student but this year has been almost a year off due to personal reasons. I stumbled upon BHW on December (that would be a whole story itself) and I was blown away - why haven't I discovered this place years ago?

I enjoy being alone more than most people, thus it might not come as a surprise that I spend most of my time on computer. I'm not socially awkward or anything, I'm just not a fan of most of the people. I also don't enjoy waking up early in the morning and I find myself most productive late at nights. All these combined with some other stuff made this site seem like a heaven and I was really intrigued by the thought that I could somehow be able to make a living out of stuff I do at home. I play a video game competitively and practicing this takes a bunch of my free time.

    The Journey

This is the hard part as I don't have a certain step-by-step plan in my mind. I guess I'll treat this thread more like a (hopefully interactive) diary.

I don't have an end goal. I'm hoping I could some day make a living out of this stuff but only time will tell.

Sub-Goal: to be honest I don't know if this is something I will achieve, but in the end of the summer (I'm on vacation for the next three months or so) I'm hoping to be banking $50/day. If I do this I probably won't enroll for the next semester and try to go big on IM.

    Methods

    Stuff I have done

    Amazon Affiliates

Site 1: authority site on a topic I'm very knowledgeable. I'm going for some really competitive keywords but this is a long term project.
    Total Earnings: $189.09 | UV's last week: 1177

    amazon-ss.png

Site 2: a micro niche site that I'm still struggling to fill with enough content. Low comp kw's and yet still ranked on the second page. I need to put some effort on this.

In addition I have three sites bubbling under - projects that started with a breeze and then were quickly neglected. I have a bad habit of having tons of ideas on which I lose interest relatively fast, this is an area I need to work on really badly. Plus I'm a goddamn slacker, doing work for myself is a double-edged sword; it's the most rewarding type of work but I'm the worst boss I've ever had - I have a hard time getting myself to do work. Hopefully this thread will help me concentrate.

    Stuff I'm about to do

Jump into IG marketing: if I'm one of the lucky ones to get a giveaway license on GramDominator, I will binge read everything I get my hands on about this subject. I've already browsed through some inspiring journeys here and got a few ideas. Some accounts will fit nicely on a few sites I'm working on (fashion niche) but to be honest IG is a whole new playing field for me. I've read some horror stories about getting sued over using anything else but your own photos, but this is a bit extreme ain't it?

I have four more sites in the progress. Bought 2+2 sites from vendors here at BHW on niches that I've been doing research on. I'm not expecting to get instant money making machines straight out of the box, but I think they have the potential to be a nice kickstart to get the juice flowing. I'm somewhat pedant on things I do so I might end up rewriting and redesigning the sites but it's easier than start from scratch. I might include reviews of these vendors if you guys are interested.

    Properties

GSA SER (w/ CB & indexer)
    Kontent Machine 3 subscription
    10 semi-dedicated proxies
    301 Nuke
    Handful of sites
Shit ton of unorganized ideas and knowledge
    TIME

Probably something else I can't remember now as I'm writing this from bed.

Well, that was probably the most poorly formed and written piece of text that I've ever written but it feels good to get it off my chest. I'll try to form the updates in a more understandable manner.

Let the summer of work begin - here goes nothing.

    Thanks guys.

Hopping On To the IG Train

For the weekend I've been reading about IG marketing and starting to get familiar with GramDominator. I had a few problems at the start but I gotta say the support has been really good, it feels like these guys don't sleep at all.

Today I finally started with the follow/unfollow process. First of all I started with scraping users from my niche using both popular hashtags and major influencers in the niche. Then I fired up GramDominator to follow 200 users per session for my both accounts. The first follow progress took me around 5 hours and the next was a lot faster. To be honest I don't have a clear idea about the optimal settings (delays, number of followers etc, feel free to discuss), but I've been trying to play it relatively safe. The results for today are as follows:

    Account 1: 29 (+29)
    Account 2: 38 (+38)

    --------

Otherwise I've not achieved much. I was super busy with moving places, but I am satisfied I finally got started with Instagram. GramDominator seems like a great tool to experiment with.

There were some small sales on my firstborn, but nothing to cheer about. Still nice to see the numbers keep on rolling.

    -------

    The Next Few Days

Now that I'm somewhat comfortable with GD, I'll make 8 more accounts to get the ball rolling. I also need to add some filler articles for my Web 2.0's. Probably also bring life to some of the expired Tumblrs I've acquired earlier.

    Numbers for today

    Account 1: 106 (+77)
    Account 2: 109 (+71)

Created a few more accounts, gonna start growing them tomorrow.

Also got two Amazon sites delivered today, didn't have time to properly read them through but they looked nice. Need to do some changes to enable them for a broader use, as of now they are somewhat limited to a certain niche.

My biggest site has now had 200+ daily UV's for a week. I'm not at all satisfied with the conversion rates for visitors outside the US, I guess people don't appreciate Amazon here as much. I'm thinking of adding a CPA ad for the site, though people generally recommend sticking with only Amazon for monetizing such sites. Any thoughts on this?

    Good luck, OP!

Quick question: why GramDominator instead of the classics Mass Planner or Followliker?

    Thanks for the wishes guys!

I was researching a lot of these different programs, could not pinpoint a single best one and then I came across this giveaway: http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/gi...ator-tools-itll-be-a-rampage-for-sure.843512/

As this is my cherry-popping journey in the realm of Instagram this was the perfect opportunity, not only is GramDominator fulfilling all my needs but the support from their end is great and the discussion group has helped me a lot as a newbie.

    Account 1: 186 (+80)
    Account 2: 201 (+92)

Accounts 3, 4, 5 and 6 were also made with 3-5 posts each. The following campaigns for these currently running so no point in posting the numbers yet.

    ---------

Started working on an e-book which I will use on a site as a freebie to start building an emailing list. One of the accounts is in the niche, can't wait to finish the book (this might take some time) and grow a decent amount of following to post a link to it. Probably will add another account for this purpose.

On the Amazon front there was a nice sale of $12 yesterday. Checking the new sites is still a work in progress (where do all these hours go?), will PM you ToxicBlack once I get it done :)

    Account 3: 98
    Account 4: 86
    Account 5: 98
    Account 6: 62

The babies keep growing. I tried some experimenting with delay values for the GramDominator campaign settings and the default value (15-25 seconds) got one account near instantly asking for verification (just a captcha though), so I've been running all the campaigns with a minimum of 30 seconds between followings so far. Might try experimenting again as the accounts grow a bit further, I think I'm gonna need phone verification anyways when I start putting the links in? Also needed to phone verify one account (#2), but I could not tell anything I did with it that might have caused it.

As sort of a case study for myself I might add that the Account #3 which is roughly in the same niche as the first two is getting already more engagements than the big ones though it is lacking behind with followers. This is most likely because the photos I've used in it are a lot more "personal" (though they are basically the same as in the bigger ones, but they are umm... more likeable? Not as commercial to say the least). Just a little something for myself to keep in mind for the future :)

    ----------

The Amazon site #1 made $20 in commissions yesterday, which was nice. Got my first payment to Payoneer also, a staggering 17 dollars from March... :D Well, there's always a start.

    Account 5: 185 (+87)
    Account 6: 184 (+122)

Bad weekend due to IRL commitments but managed to run some following campaigns, nothing else though. I'm sort of aching to fire up two fitness accounts as the niche seems super easy on IG, still thinking about monetization though. Do people actually spend money on those 101 fat burning tip 'n' life changing books?

    Numbers for May

    Account 1: 641 (+83)
    Account 2: 669 (+60)
    Account 3: 197 (+44)
    Account 4: 233 (+55)
    Account 5: 224 (+39)
    Account 6: 245 (+61)

    Total: 2209

    Amazon: $209.92 | Conversion: 4.36%

The money kw's for the new sites are now at: 54. (2900 Vol) and 45. (1600 Vol). Decent, will let them sink for another week or so before I start with the link-building.

    Great Stats Skaru.

I feel you are still running 2 projects at a time but thats great besides going after tens at once.
Start giving a little push to your amazon sites so that it wont get bombarded with links next week.

    Cheers

I'm not gonna bombard them exactly, gonna start it slow anyways. Thanks for the feedback!

Yet again a useless weekend IM-wise behind due to a graduation party I had to attend, need to step up my game this week.

    Account 1: 794 (+153)
    Account 2: 835 (+166)
    Account 3: 303 (+106)
    Account 4: 348 (+115)
    Account 5: 342 (+118)
    Account 6: 366 (+121)

I should probably start doing some unfollowings, do you guys just do it the same way as you do followings, or is it safe to do it in larger quantities? No following while unfollowing though, am I correct?

How are you making those Amazon sites? Are you making them yourself or buying them off people?

Sites 1 & 2 are made by myself, sites 3 & 4 (and the upcoming 5 & 6) I bought but I've started revamping them to better suit my purposes. I bought them mainly for kw research, content and a ready platform to start working on anyways.

    Account 1: 879 (+85)
    Account 2: 937 (+102)
    Account 3: 365 (+62)
    Account 4: 436 (+88)
    Account 5: 392 (+50)
    Account 6: 467 (+101)

So two days ago I woke up to the magnificent sight of "inaccessible boot device" error which made me reinstall Windows and all the software and settings. This cost me some work hours (I still run GramDominator from my own PC).

On other news I've been scraping together that e-book I mentioned earlier, "wrote" up some filler content for my web 2.0's and downloaded and edited a nice amount of photos to be used on my upcoming IG accounts.

The European Football Championships is going to be a tough one for me, jeez. So many great matches, so much stuff to do.

    Account 5: 481 (+89)
    Account 6: 522 (+55)
    Account 7: 15 (+15)

Did unfollowings the whole last week, hence the low numbers. In the meantime I've been filling up some Web 2.0's and working on the ebook. Sort of want to start something new as well but I know I should not.

Amazon sales have been going maybe a bit lower than I expected. Most likely going to hit that $200/month again though. I also got asked about selling ad space on one of my sites, we'll see what they offer. To be honest I have no clue what should I ask for but I'll look into it once they send me their offer :)

    Back to the grind.

    Account 1: 1219 (+302)
    Account 2: 1359 (+362)
    Account 3: 685 (+239)
    Account 4: 763 (+317)
    Account 5: 687 (+206) RIP
    Account 6: 643 (+121)
    Account 7: 208 (+193)

Seems like I've lost the Account 5. GramDominator failed to log into the account and I tried logging in via browser, it says that the password is incorrect. Otherwise it seems untouched, I have no idea what has happened. Doubt anyone would try to hack such a small account. Tried changing the password but I can't access the email anymore (bulk bought from Fiverr and spammed to death with GSA so I can't access it anymore).

Another piece of bad news came in with the IG update: http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/did-instagram-killed-affiliate-marketing-with-update.854450/ So basically the original monetization idea for some of the accounts is now gone, have to think of something else. Well, the My Journey section is full of inspiring methods so I'm not worried about this.
