Just one yet, monthly billing.Let us know when you hit your first sale, How many months have you paid for subscribtion of shopify.
Thank you! Congratulations for your first sale. Good luck to you too!All the best luck to you, I started recently with pod dropshipping, had my first sale yesterday. Good luck again!
Thank you! I can agree with you here. But I think it this way: they have the potential to get even more sales if their stores were cleaner, good looking and more customer friendly. I can bet they lost lots of potential sales just because of the website design. That's why I want to make my store as good looking and as customer friendly as I can, because I don't want to lose any customer because of my store's poor design.Best of luck to you mate!
Good on you for taking action. From what I've seen in this market and from my own experience ( maybe it has changed a little as it is now ) it doesn't matter that much how your store looks as long as you have what customer wants and you are good at promoting a.k.a. getting that super targeted traffic to your products. That's why you see shitty looking stores making tons of sales.
watching your journey![]()

Agreed. Hope it goes well and you get inspired.Maybe they have, but they still make sales which is better than having a perfectly looking shop with 0 sales if you get what I'm saying.
In your case it might be different, since you have a low budget in which case you should probably spend your promotional money very wisely. For someone who has cash to throw into fb ads, that doesn't matter that much as long as your store looks legit, people care more about products and customer service than looks of the store. Buuut that's just my two cents.
It's really gonna be interesting to see how you gonna make it with that budget. Maybe I'll get some inspiration to try it as well![]()
@SkippeRR Nice, how many traffic coming to your website daily, and what are its sources, and whats conversion rate? All the best luck to you, I started recently with pod dropshipping, had my first sale yesterday. Good luck again!
Nice. How much are you spending at ads daily ? With 21ish you mean 21K traffic daily ?@yawer Around 21ish every day since maybe like 3-4 days, the main source is Facebook Ads. The conversion rate is less than 1%, I am still tweaking my prices and ads.

Thank you, I really appreciate!Best of luck to you OP! It's nice to see someone having a clear goal and a good structure to achieve that goal. I have no doubt that you won't be successful with the store. Just remind yourself to stay consistent when you're earning money. It's important to remind yourself of what you've started with and why. Keep going!
Any updates?
Hey, I've been dropshipping for a while and it's made me good money so far so I thought I'd chime in. My first question to you though, did the Flat earth video get to you or you're still for a spherical earth(hopefully)?
1.If you want to learn about dropshipping then Youtube is your answer but every damn YouTuber is set on selling you their course without providing any real value in their content. I would highly suggest watching this YouTuber who is quite possibly the most transparent one out there. He took up a challenge to build a Shopify dropshipping store and make it profitable all in front of a live audience. Since then he has built and run a general store publicly and has managed to make $300K or more which is why I have so much respect for him. I'm in NO way associated or affiliated to him except that he's Indian too.

2. My first profitable store was a Jewelry store too and my first few sales came through Instagram. I would highly recommend sticking to one niche at the moment (women's jewelry or men's ONLY) so it's easier for you to build your content around. You mentioned having 66 products on the store which is more than enough to launch the store so go ahead and do it. Please don't buy Followers for your Instagram account, build them organicly. What I did was pretty simple, I started posting niche-related content on the IG account a few days before launch and on launch day, I posted a few product images. I added the account to Massplanner (R.I.P) and made it follow people from certain accounts and I had my first sale within 4 hours. I kept doing this till MP was alive and I would get 0-5 sales from Instagram every day.
3. Payment Gateways - FUCK 2CHECKOUT. This gateway should not be your primary concern, PayPal should be. If you're targeting Tier1 countries then PayPal is a must. 7/10 of my customers use PayPal to checkout. It's simple, fast, secure and very trusted. Fuck 2CO for their insanely high fees and holds.
4. You really don't need permission from the supplier (Aliexpress) to use his videos/images on your store or for your ad creatives. If you insist on it then you can contact a few who supply the products you're selling and tell them you'll be dropshipping and would be interested in getting lower prices for a long term partnership. I've only done this after I've ordered over 50 pieces of a product from a supplier.
5. Your FAQs, Shipping Policy, Track Order and Refund Policy need to be readily available to the customer. Add them to both the header and footer navigational menus. Mention the shipping time on your product description.
6. You did not have to spend anything to start your Shopify store except the domain registration fee. If you're testing a new niche then use a Shopify Developmental Store. You basically get an unlimited trial period that lasts until you get 50 orders on the store or you try to enable a paid app. You will not be required to pay for this or select a plan unless you do either of those things.

Lastly, good luck with your store.
Edit : Oof, realized OP's been MIA after typing this up.
Either he got rich, or he got broke. No other reason for leaving his journey thread in middle. RIP. Say Amen and prayers for his soul. RIP. Another one bites the dust!
