Update :

I found this works best with related niches , as it's less suspicious , so more success rate , and it's also related quality links , which is a killer

I think that those text links are the best you can get, especially when you put them on top of the site

Even if it would work, they would put the link on a innerpage with pr N/A-pr 0, not on the main page with the main PR..
