Hello community!
Let me show something I discovered a few days ago - you can have almost any wordpress theme and plugin for free without any legal risk!
Why?
Because wordpress is published under GNU GPL licence and any work that derives for it inherits the GPL licence.
http://wordpress.org/about/license/
This means if someone made a theme that call even one wordpress function, which is 99.99% true they can sell it, but I can then alter it, sell it as my own, or give it away to the community without any legal risk

Only some parts of the themes could be under some other licence, like CSS and images, so be careful, but otherwise - this is the best news I've heard this year!
