$90 for garaunteed DMOZ - would you do it?

Are people still expecting to get a DMOZ listing and then jump in the ranking by 10 positions or something? It suprises me that people think a single backlink can carry so much weight, DMOZ is the BEST web directory on the net, but its still a web directory and just one link.

Spent your $90 on a backlinking service, you will get better results.

I would definitely even $190 each for 5 of my websites. PM me the details.

Authority for as long as your website is live.
Were not expecting it to jump in rankings but it is one piece of the puzzle. I paid 1000 back in 2001 for my loans website. It was worth it then and is now.

would yall pay to get into the yahoo directory?
would it be worth it?

No way! Here in BHW you can get High PR links even from authority domains for $19

Think before you act!

Sounds like a scam. Not many editors can put a link anywhere they want in DMOZ. Even if the links go live (which I doubt) a high level editor will notice their spamminess and delete them all.

Plus a link in DMOZ, WITH the right anchor and description, is worth way more then $90. Google still relies very heavily on DMOZ, but they don't advertise it any more. Every Google search site (Google.com, Google.ca, etc) has a mirror of DMOZ on it. They have over 200 mirrors of DMOZ.

So. Did anyone get listed for $90.00? If anyone knows how or can get sites listed I am very interested. Pm me please. I will pay. I am unable to get listed, unable to become an editor ? Thx I will pay for results

I spoke to a dmoz editor last week.He will not have the authority to approve outwith his category.I can also tell you 99% of editors would not risk their editorship for $90.
He told me as long as your site is relevant with good code and highly relevant for category that your description is the most important piece of the puzzle.

I was told they are being inundated with applications for editors and are no processing any new ones.It was also recommended to become an editor for a non commercial category for alot of reviews then your chances of getting one in a commercial category were alot higher. He seemed genuine to me and it makes sense.

I have not even applied to have any of my sites on dmoz anyway because I outrank all the ones in my niches so I am not concerned about it.

I am also wondering if this is legit (the seller). It's worth the price if so. It's an "exclusive" place to have a link and all SEs no that. Most can't get in.

Can't PM 'cause I'm new here (was a regular on another similar forum for 6 years).

Does anyone have any info on this? Please pm me I will pay for a way to get listed, become an editor, or both.

Ill submit your site to DMOZ if it gets in you give me $90 ok?

It's funny to see the wide range of opinions on the value of dmoz links, I myself think that 90 is a fair price and would be willing to pay if I can get some assurance that it would go up and stay up.

any update on this? easily worth 90.00 for a business doing long term. considering yahoo charges 300.00!
