I am a baseball, football (American Football and unfortunately a Jets fan) and a basketball fan (again I'm an unfortunate Knicks fan).

I got a text this AM about 4:15 or so from a friend about the signing... The Yankees have more money stacked than most countries. Spend it and give the fan base another championship is my thought process.

Is that usually the case in baseball wherein spend big on players and it's guaranteed success?

Great. Only two more decades or so and he'll be as rich as Kylie Jenner is now. Well, almost.

Yeah baseball it´s our countrie´s (Venezuela) most popular sport by far!

And it has become a legitimate option for many to get out of poverty and secure their financial future. Even if you don´t make it as a MLB elite player like many other venezuelans. You can still make a great living but just settleling as a regular MLB player for a few years.

What is this about? The websites is not working in Germany. :(

There is no guaranteed success but there are some silly contracts.

The NBA is worse with silly contracts though on average.

It's good to see people benefit from their hard work and skill set for sure.
