The Verge picked it up from somewhere else. I don't recall which website did an article about that first, but my antiques group with over 20,000 members was all in a flutter about it. Many people in my antiques group sell on Etsy and they are pissed. They all got together and vowed to clean etsy up of fraud. It's supposed to be for handmade items and not mass produced items. They are reporting sellers left and right. I personally think this is an insult to the handmade community and also to the antiques community. We work very hard to design our jewelry, and then people from other countries come along and try to trash the field with their junk.
Haha me too..Good method. Funny because I was thinking of doing something like this recently.
I thought of this before, but the problem is i live outside Europe and USA....so for me, i can't order in bulk then re-sell :/ ill try the dropshipping way and see how it goes
Haha me too..
But I thinking about to dropship from alibaba/aliexppres, and then marketing it using FB page/own web + FB Ads.
But the only reason that stop me from doing it is shipping time.
Buy a bulk order to yourself and then start up form there, it may cost more upfront but will cut down shipping time for customers.
You can also ask most vendors for samples. They will charge you the shipping cost but if the item is cheap they will send 1-2 samples. You could then list a specific stock on your site, keep track of what sells out first, when you sell all your products use the profits to buy bulk stock in the order that they sold out.
I dont like this type of style.
It's too risky.
I like dropship style, so I can keep changing one item to another item for test & experiment.
Going to point out you sound like a catholic telling me not to sin or you, or your god will punish me.... Talk about an ego trip.... I'd feel bad if your actions caused a family to live on the streets because the person doing it had few skills in life and saw this as his only option.... Happy hunting
What if the customer gets a invoice in there parcel saying it only cost $1 ??
