I currently have $800 that I am looking to invest. right now I am looking for different ideas and methods that would be great to flip $800 and make a nice return.

What kind of business/venture are you looking to invest into? You're going to have to provide some more details.
Short term return with small gains or long term returns with larger, more sustained gains?
You could look into website flipping, I think Flippa is where you should go first if you want to see something of the sort.
I'm more into the app biz, larger risk, but much larger returns if done right.
With $800 or even just a fraction of that, you should probably look into creating a long term and sustainable business that can possibly set you up very nicely, like a site/blog, drop shipping, etc
For smaller and quicker gains, you could look into buying cheaper products and reselling them at a markup.

I don't really like this method as people whine about random shit and follow the mob mentality. Which is currently Donald Trump and fake news on Facebooks. You find real problems by just digging really deep into technique or process of a field for example like rubber stamps flipping or something. But find something that's worth looking into.

I find offers that allow in-app advertising. So there is no chance to get banned
GrumpyBoy just gave you a very basic explanation of affiliate marketing in it's purest form .. Find a CPA offer, buy some traffic, tweak and test until you have a positive ROI
Always has worked, always will work .. It's just a case of learning how to optimise a campaign for profit.
