80% of the Time ScrapeBox Crashes-Is This Normal?

Hi guys
I'm running scrapebx on a dedicated server (windows 2003) and SB crashed 4 out of 5 times already. I've read threads here on bhw that it has to do w 3rd party programs but I don't have anything else running (or even installed) in that computer . I set SB overnight and in the morning I usually wake up to see SB crashed (and I don't even know which ones got posted etc..)

Some details:
I'm running windows server 2003
Loading like 250,000 urls in fast poster
Using private proxies

===> Again,Nothing else is running while I run SB

Pls suggest something

Since when you are facing this issue? I guess you have good system configuration. This time try running two instances of SB. Split the URL into two parts and run the fast poster in both. Also make sure you have latest version of SB.
 
I too have had many problems with Scrapebox on a variety of different boxes. It's unfortunate too and many claim that its "user error" on my behalf.

It's somewhat hit or miss as well, for me though it typically crashes at the VERY end of the blast.

I too have used it on a variety of Windows 2003 server boxes, and also a Windows Vista laptop w/ 4 gigs. Unfortunately you aren't the only one that has experienced problems.
 
I just logged into my remote server and BOOM guess what I see => SB error (SB was working for like 5 hr now it crashed) the error I'm getting is 6e692063 (access violation) anyone know what causes this?

One more thing I'm running SB sandboxed-don't think it makes a difference though..

All the hard work - down the drain..
 
My only advice is to make sure that you don't have Scrapebox set to automatically switch to Slow Commenter after you've gone through your fast blast. Slow Commenter is usually more prone to crash (atleast for me).

Thanks! But It's crashing on fast poster (even before it gets to slow commented..) anyone know what that error code is..?

If you have nothing installed on the machine or running, how are you running it sandboxed? If you can tell me how you are virtualizing without software maybe i can replicate it?

If you have the crashdump logger enabled, everything is written to file in real time and when you start SB again it loads the not completed URL's ready to start where it left off. So there's no hard work down the drain.

Thanks for you reply (BTW after everything said and done it is a GREAT software !)

I have sandboxie running but that's it

However I also tried running it WITHOUT it sandboxed last night and after 2 hr => CRASH
 
I use Scrapebox 24/7 on all 3 of my servers and I've found it crashes around 50% of the time on fast poster now, i dunno if its my machines or something they changed but it never used to crash this much.

Even when I'm harvesting lists now it crashes 30% of the time which is frustrating. I don't think harvesting ever used to crash.

I instead crashdunp loogging and for some reason when I resart SB nothing loads (says contacting crashdunp ... But then nothing loads..) am I missing something? Anything need to do to enable Logger ?
 
unlucky - I have only had one crash ever and I'm hardly using top end equipment.
 
its crashing like crazy on me today too. Update didn't make a difference. Crashes on fast poster and I cant even get a good run going.
 
my sb crashes after about 2000 posts.. almost everytime (i got a new win 7 laptop) same happened on my old laptop
 
I usually set it to do various tasks before going to bed, and quite often when i wake up in the morning, i see it's crashed.

Usually the blog analyser, or fast poster, very annoying, but ive just learned to live with it, such a great little program.
 
Oh God, I just bought this software and hope it doesn't crash too. I had to get a refund on another popular software because it crashed too much for me.. even on really low stress settings. [That software is NOT scrapebox.]

I hope scrapebox doesn't crash for me..
 
If it's crashing alot you should try reinstalling, or perhaps lowering the number of URLs you are commenting on, or lowering your connections.
 
I am having the same problems. i have 10 private proxies that are working great and it craps out on me after about 5 min. I have it on 20 threads only and still goes out and I am told it has to be me which is the problem so anyone got some advise? I reinstalled it and everything.
 
Yeah, scrapebox never used to crash on me. These last two days, its been crashing when I'm doing my fast posting.
