80% of the Time ScrapeBox Crashes-Is This Normal?

I've bought scrapebox about 2-3 weeks ago, I've been running it a lot, scraping stuff ,etc, from my own PC, I've had no issues at all, it was all speedy, no sign of freeze nor crash.

I've been using SB for about a month and I have only noticed it crashing when I am working with very large lists. When I had a list of 300,000 unique domains, I would leave it overnight to run its magic and it would be crashed in the morning but when I split it into smaller chunks I have had much better success. Now that I think about it, I haven't had it crash since the latest update the other day....hmmmmm

Do you have the latest IE installed?
When I had IE 6 it used to crash a lot.

I have been using proxies from https://instantproxies.com/ and I never had a problem with them for my other tasks. It will be my first time to use SB and as much as possible, I want to avoid any big issues. Is it advisable to use a proxy or should I just use my own ip?

I bought the Scrapebox Rank Checker but it will only work one time per day for some reason.
