7878 didn't reply, Administrator assistance requested

Hi,

The only Admin I know by name is 7878, I think he may have missed my PM to him a couple of days ago. I checked profiles but SOAP, OLD Salt and others are not Administrators according to their profile and I was told to seek for one.

The problem:
I had a friend join this forum, something went wrong apparently and now the account has no access to the forum, not even to his own inbox.
If my friend makes another account he will be banned with cause so that's not a valid option.
Could an Admin please grant him access? The name is in my inbox/outbox, top messages mention it in the title.

P.S. This thread can be deleted after an Admin looked into it as far as I'm concerned, once solved it serves nobody to hold on to it.

Actually, I contacted WizGizmo as a first step and he advised me to contact an Administrator since WizGizmo is a Moderator. I sent a PM to 7878, waited two days for him to come online and 24 hours after that my friend is still limited.

To be honest my friend is now ready to walk away while I know he will be a great asset to the forum. :(

I did think about contacting Diamond Damien btw, perhaps I will after this fails but I figured he would be too busy to deal with problems like these.

why not just goto the IRC chat channel some1 there everyday
also 7878 hasnt logged in, in 2 days or posted since dec 15th

but you have to remember admins have real lives as well as forum
to run, they wont answer every pm they get as they dont always
have the time....

speaking from exp - if you message some1 up stairs and get no
reply - there either offline - busy - or in my case may not answer lolz.

Also, I do understand they have busy lives, really do.

I now emailed support using he link Disloyal provided. We will have to wait and see. I am still hoping an Admin will see this thread though as it should be a quick fix and probably faster than the email.

Erm, IRC is not an option, regardless. I am not using a proxy, can do without flaunting my IP to everyone. lol
 
No need to keep sending PM's to other mods or Damien ... 7878 will reply to your message eventually. He handles a lot of responsibilities on the forum and runs his own business as well so give him ample time to get back in touch with you.

If the member broke any BHW rules, then I would drop it. 99.9% of the time once you're banned that's it. And for good reason. Keeping this network clean is a full time job.
 
everyone needs a few days off even an admin

I asked a Moderator, he advised me to talk to an Admin.
I sent ONE message to 7878, waited two days till he was online, nothing happened. Waited for another 24 hours and still nothing happened.
I think 7878 gets bombarded with messages but me sending him ten requests will certainly not help me or my friend, agreed.
Now I sent ONE email thru the ticket system and created ONE thread.

Is that overdoing it you think?

All my friend did was make an account. He did not have a chance to misbehave in any way whatsoever, nor will he.
To answer the follow up question: Yes, it is my friend, not me on another IP.

EDIT: All this information was available in the thread btw...

Did have a look at the support section but then I would have to log in to my email and I'm hoping this thread might be a quicker fix once an Admin reads it.

Diamond isn't actually offline. Its the invisible mode. Your best option would be to contact the support team via the support button. They usually reply in 1-2 working days at max. If it fails, dont hesitate to send a PM to diamonddamien.

I will have to wait for the ticket I guess, really don't want to bother Diamond Damien if I can avoid it.
