Yes because replicas in essence are clones of the original product.
No, because you are providing a good product to people that can't afford the price of the original product.
Essentially its not the same product, they are totally different. People have different preferences and have different amounts of money.

Well for those two months it was the only thing I worked on
I'm very interested in this and have been researching and have some suppliers lined up and would like some advice from those who already have some experience.
There is a fine line here and I am not sure what is it...
When you sell replica products, say for example Ipods or Rolex watches...
1. Would you sell a replica that looks similar and say it is a replica, or
2. Would you sell one that looks exactly the same, is in the same box, has the same name, same logo, as the original, but say it is a Replica...
Is number 1 legal and number 2 illegal? What does the law state here? This is what I am trying to establish. I need to be sure, so I know exactly what I can and cannot do here... I need some guidelines... can someone please help me?

- I wouldn't sell them. But that's just me....
Same logo, same name, same packaging.... but knockoffs? - by most original manufactures this would be considered illegal and they would come after to you if they could.
I just get good products at wholesale prices....
Some are name brand ...and some aren't
The mp3/mp4 players I sell - are clearly not. But I am not trying to sell them as such. They are a cheaper and sometimes better alternative then paying retail for sometimes the same technology or functionality.
But you know how that goes ....
I am sure we all have a little bit of namebrand whore in all of us.
Here is a forum I came across that talks about dropshiping companies, and selling in general. I am not sure if I can mention other forums in here, but since it off topic with what we discuss I think it should be fine. By the way I have only read about 2 posts on this other forum so I have no idea how good it is.

Yeh, that forum is ok if you're real new to the whole scene.
I don't see a problem with talking about it because it is not in the same league as this one.
But I viewed the majority of the threads there and it didn't seem like people were very willing to give up their sources.
I don't know, it may hold a few nuggets but I didn't find too much.
Thanks for the idea though as it may help some others.

Sorry buddy, I don't really know on that one. As I'm in the US and haven't really had to deal with that.
However I don't think you should have a problem selling in your country, but you may want to look into all the rules regarding this stuff.

do you dropship to the bidder directly (from china to bidder, 1 good at a time) or you ship a few amounts to your house and send them to the bidders? From what you have written, I guess is the latter, just want some clarification.

I don't know the exact rules on replicas to be quite honest, but I've had zero problems on eBay up to this point.
And yes this is buying the items, getting them shipped to your house/business and then shipping them from there to the buyer.
Not dropshipping. You may be able to find a supplier that will drop ship these items for you but personally I don't really fancy working with drop shippers myself.

Doing my research, this can be a very dangerous road to travel down if you are in the US. Maybe good for a hit it and quit it campaign, but long term could be disastrous. I've read alot of news articles regarding "purse parties" getting busted, along with numerous other types of replicas and knock off sellers buy local and federal authorities.

I don't dislike all dropshippers, mainly just the ones with tiny profit margins.
