Not really using an tricks, just good ad copy.

For the warranty issues, check out www.s*q*u*a*r*e*trade.com. They offer warranties for ebay auctions, especially for electronic goods.

do u have to pay any import duties or customs tax? or is that only if customs intercept it?

As for warranty issues, how about offering an extended warranty to the buyers. Kinda like self insuring the product, $15 or $20 for 3 year warranty.
I bet most people will lose them in that time and if they are well made not too many will come back

Great info here...I'm gone try this. Thanks Smitty

Hell of an idea, since this charge will most likely cover your costs of a replacement anyways, so no real loss to you!

The other beauty of this is the fact these products use Lithium Ion Batteries. For those that don't know, a lithium ion battery typically lasts for 300 ish charges, so purchasers will normally have a dead product in around 1 year!

Haha another good point. I never actually thought about that.

I used to sell rolex watches a few years back on ebay, but buyers are very cautious now and ask all about numbers which if you're savvy can be checked on the rolex register if genuine or not!

I have a few rolex models in if anyone is interested.

You can buy really good replicas of rolex models for approx $100-$199 but to be honest ebay is pretty HOT on these watches now, and it only takes a Vero member to report your listing, and your auction listing is taken down by ebay, unless you list them up on a 1 or 3 day listing then you have a better chance of selling them.

It's pretty amazing ... I watched (no pun) a video on cnn.com the other day about the replica watch market in Thailand...

It's F'ing amazing ... cause even the same ones you would be referring to that sell for "$100-$199" ... go for a whopping $10 on the street there in broad daylight. These of course are almost exactly identical to the several thousand dollar originals and most consumers in this instance would not even know the difference or even perhaps care.

I encourage anyone here to review the cnn video from only about a week or so ago discussing this. The government was trying to say it will not be tolerated and driving a steamroller over several hundred replicas to showcase and make an example of their stance. LOL ... quite a display by these fools ... A-holes. Governments make ANYTHING illegale that they can't tax or draw direct revenues from.

Bootlegging has been around since the dawn of time. It's the people's way of saying FUCK YOU! to big business. LOL

AND ... if anyone on here doesn't know me yet.....

I am all about the people. ;)

BREAKING NEWS FROM CNN!!!

Haha, I'm checkin it out right now.

THanks for the share, I like watching things like this.

I just watched the first three seconds and paused it to come back here.

WTF they are crushing all those watches. :)

Yes there is allot of them.

I did a quick run through on the ones I had an interest in, and there was really only a few sites that seemed like they had decent prices. The biggest problem I ran into was that no one wants to disclose there prices without you being a member first. I am sure they have a valid reason for this, but when there is that many companies to choose from I put the ones that take more time to research to the bottom of the list. Either way it is a good site to check out if you are serious of getting into selling online.

All these sites seem to be dropshippers in the US which will be the safest bet for most of us to start off with unless of course you are not in the US.

This is not he same type of companies being suggested by Smitty who is going to have better profit margins because he is buying from China in bulk. You need a good selling produst and cash flow to do that, but his concepts can be used for dropshipping also.

I found a supplier that gives me 16gb iphone REAL for $240.

Insane profit margin here.

Also, I know a supplier that sells iphone replicas for like $110-140. These look identical to the real thing, but only have a 2gb capacity.

If anyone wants the company to email let me know. I am talking about the replicas of course.
