Hey I just got back from the Philippines. While I was there, I developed a great source for replica handbags. I've been scratching my balls trying to figure out whether I'd get my ebay account wiped for doing it, and then today I found you guys talking about it. The lightbulb just went off.
If anyone is interested in doing the selling (and it sounds like y'all are very interested in doing the selling), I can get unlimited supply of the handbags, and even arrange for drop-shipping direct from the Philippines. No need to bring in any stock! PM me if you're serious about this.

I'm no expert here but I don't think its illegal to sell replicas. If it was, then lots of companies would have been bankrupt by now or in illegal trouble. I think some are referring to selling a replica and then claiming it to be brand name. At least that's how I'm viewing it right now.

Ebay is all over fake handbag auctions. I used to make ridiculous money on this a few years ago. People were willing to pay 1/10th the price for a good quality fake handbag, so customers were happy. Ebay started cracking down haaaarrddd and it got to the point where it was nearly impossible to list them anymore with brand names in the title so I got out. There are still a lot of people doing it, and there is a shitload of money to be made there as people want to buy fakes, ebay just doesn't allow it.
I think when it boils down to it, its NOT illegal to sell replicas. It may be against eBay's terms to sell replicas and use the brand name in the title so that's the only factor that needs to be avoided.
Not only that but some people like to compare things which could be causing the issues as well. But lots of people will go for the lower deal, assuming its just as good as the brand name product.
One Concept to Grasping Some People: Offer to pay for their first month for an Extended Warranty Program, this is assuming the product/replica your already selling has a manufacturer warranty for at least 90 days. It could help in a sense.
Bottom line, I think its okay, just don't claim the product as the "brand name" product and that could avoid the removal of your product from eBay.

3 years ago i was selling on ebay nike shoes i was making lot of money each month, problem one day custom contact me and also contact ebay i was banned and got very big problem... so be very carefull when you sell brand product, many competitor contact custom ebay etc ... to say that you sell fake product.. very bad but true story.

I know I may seem stubborn, but can someone please confirm (by providing proof from the eBay terms) where it says you CAN'T sell replica's on eBay?
I see hundreds of "touch screen" MP4 players. The part that gets to me is what the fu** is the difference that eBay has to ban it. As long as the seller is keeping it real and saying its a replica (if it is) then the buyer should have knowledge that its a replica and it can't really get someone into trouble.

My brother Lives in china and he works in import/export. He does not work mainly in ipods,bags or watches, but he could get cheap prices from different companies there as he has great connections. He works mainly in kitchen electronics, and other small electronics and small motorcycles. If anyone is interested I get tehm what they wat from china. I can also ask the companies to provide samples, but you will have to pay for the sample.

I just wanted to share that customs fucked me over on replicas. I bought rolex replicas in china, the seller sent it over via EMS, and customs seized it. I got a letter from them that they are destroying the goods, and a big fine will follow. Just letting you guys know that there are risks involved if you want to start making money in the replica business.

There are definitely risks in the replica business, and there are also people making tremendous amounts of money on it. To be perfectly honest, at the end of the day, I don't think it's really worth it... you might get away with it for a day, a week, a month, or a year, but eventually customs will catch up with you or, if nothing else, eBay will ban you.
To those that were asking how eBay can remove listings for an iPod replica, etc., it all boils down to VeRO. eBay's VeRO program allows major corporations like Apple and Nike to have an item removed for pretty much any reason at all, including their claim that it is a replica of their branded product.
I hate to say it, but the days of selling anything on eBay are long gone, and its become nearly impossible (especially for accounts registered after 11/07) to reestablish yourself on eBay after being banned.

I've read this entire thread but maybe I missed it. Anyone try selling replicas on CL instead of ebay? You could even advertise replicas in some cheap offline classifieds or college newspapers. Replicas are huge business. Egay can't be the only profitable outlet.

I've recently had my auctions from egay removed, I was selling copies, bloody good ones too anyway egay would'nt let me list them as replica, style, similar etc so i just stated what the items were.. ie phone, straightners, earphones etc no ref to brand and no brand in pics, 99p start and used that magic word refurbished, egay let me sell, untill i got 1 complaint, through a egay message, after that, gaypal held all new transactions for 21 days or until i was given positive feedback, which was a right pain, before releasing the money.
I got my stuff from *rade *rang (2 t's missing) china gaypal/escrow
chose 4 suppliers, everything came through without duty/tax,
largest parcel weighed about 5kg
shipped by ems then parcel force in uk (5 days)
I stopped selling on egay, thought it a bit too dodgy, could easily have gone wrong.
has anyone seen this information @auctionagainguide dotcom? about getting on egay a different way anonoumously ???
I've read here somewhere about ppl buying egay accounts, why buy egay accounts?
I'm a noob yes and maybe itshows but i'm here to learn, just like you!

Hey I was thinking of buying some macbooks from this one person on Alibaba and thought I would ask some advice about a few things. The person who has them is a gold and trustpass member and also in china. The options they give for payment are moneygram, western union and wire transfer. I asked if they accepted paypal or any of those other more secure payment methods but havent gotten them to write back yet. Anyway do you think its safe using western union with gold and trustpass members? Even if it isn't I'd rather not since Western union tends to charge more then other payment methods. Also I'm not sure if these macbooks are replica or not, given that their from china I'm guessing chances they are.
