Hey, new to the selling online things, but I'm Canadian I've been living here in Shanghai, China for 4 years now. My Chinese friends do come in pretty handy sometimes. A man on the ground here in China might be able to help you guys out. Not sure how, exactly. My Chinese is fluent so I guess that helps, ha. But maybe you once had a problem that you feel could be fixed if only you were actually IN China. Anyways, just thought i'd throw that out there.

I did the exact same thing last Christmas. I made $12000 in one week. My auctions closed every five to ten minutes from daylight to midnight. I only sold to US and Canada. I stopped shipping to Canada because of customs.

ya i used to sell lacoste polos on ebay. fake ones. I was making about 500 bucks a day until they shut me down and i had to pay out the nose to get everything set straight. I dont mess with ebay anymore youll get slammed if just one little thing goes wrong so i cant really recommend getting into it.

Ya its possible to sell Replica iPod Nanos over ebay, but i bought about 50 of them off of Tradetang.c0m which is also a really good site point being that Just be careful because I sold about 40 of them no hassles and I got 10 complaints from individuals and got banned for trademark infringement. So just be careful.

Don't they really fuck you off looking for cheap stuff then you sell it to them then they get you banned.

If they had sense they would see nobody could undercut the big high street sellers or Amazon most of the time for a product like Ipod.

Yeah enough to wind you up, but to be fair, some people probably wouldnt be happy if they had the real thing either.

I've looked into this abit tonight and it seems, OK fine it might be a bit of a dodgey issue selling "Replica Ipods" but theres plenty of other stuff on that Alibaba site.. like those Dual Sim phones... aparently, they are selling in the shit loads on Ebay.

You have to make it clear in the ad that you are not selling band name merchandise. You can state that the features and functions and looks are similar, but that it is not the real thing nor is it a "fake" or
"replica", it's just a different brand that looks/works like the name brand.

I just wanted to let everyone know of another website that i have been personally using and i have gotten many replica items from China with it. It is basically the same thing as Alibaba the only difference is instead of dealing with actual companies you deal with individual sellers. The website is http://www.dhgate.com

In my personal experience this has been one of the best website to buy all sorts of electronics off. You can get anything from phones to ladies UGG boots lol. The way DHgate protects is by using an Escrow system. Basically when you buy a product from a seller and you pay you are actually paying DHgate and DHgate holds your money until you receive your items from China. Once you have received the goods and you are happy with them you simply log on to your account and release the payment to the seller. This way both you and the seller are protected. If the seller rips you off you simply open a dispute with the seller via DHgate and also through Paypal and once your situation has been explained you get all your money refunded. I have had many experiences with some of these arse holes that want to rip me off and i have always beat them when it came to disputes in Paypal.

Always stay away from sellers that have low feedback. Message the seller first and ask them as many questions as you need first to give yourself peace of mind before buying. Never accept the first price they give you for an item. I always use to get all my sellers down by about 30USD or more when i use to outsource. Always tell your sellers to write gift on the delivery slip that way you won't get any TAX bill or anything. I ordered maybe 40 plus items from China and i never got TAXED just by getting them to write gift.

I hope this little bit of info helps anyone out there wanting to outsource goods from China.

Lastly, I'm living in China (a Canadian) and want to ship some mp4/mp3 players to somewhere in the US (my parents will do the shipping for Canada). I will sell them myself, I just want someone in the US to ship them for me. Does anyone know anybody or a service who will do that for me?

I have been through probably every supplier there is in China and Hong Kong. Some bad, some good, some who rip you off big time and some who are fantastic!

Personaly I only use one person now, they have an estore with the prices broken down into the amount of peices you buy and the great thing is there is no minimum order quantity, infact the price on just one unit for mp3/mp4 players is far better than what I have seen people talking about on here. The items are 1:1 copies aswell.

I've been reading about ebay. But I feel so bad for these people. 2 and 1/2 years ago before I got into affiliate marketing I bought and ipod replica, it really sucked and I spent $150. This shows that it works, but at the same time will give you really shitty karma.

people can't be so stupid to believe that they can actually purchase a new product at half the price it would typically sell for in walmart or anyother BIG store known for having really low prices, and expect it to be real. Its common since that you don't buy shit on eBay that seems too good to be true.

I don't necessarily agree that selling replicas is "ripping" anyone off. I've bought several ipod replicas and they've always worked fine. I was happy to save the money. I suppose it's a hit and miss situation though.

Come on buddy. You searched for "ipod replica" and no results came up? I find that hard to believe Try searching for Mp3 or Mp4. That Should solve your problem
