7 years later

Today is your day, proper advice guy (me) has seen your thread.

1) You might be drinking coffee, smoking etc = you need to leave your house and spend hours being busy + mind busy to reduce that
(which is killing your will to live at this stage)

2) You will buy gym membership after checking few gyms and see where you can fit it. You go there 3 up to max 4 times a week.

3) You will find a boxing gym or whatever close to boxing or kick boxing or mma you have got there, and start with newbies = 2 or max 3 sessions a week

NOW you have mind and body busy at least 2 hours a day which is wonderful progress from being nowhere, and a Sunday to rest + eventually Saturday too, but I wouldn't suggest because you won't need anything apart from Sunday to chill

Scaling this later = start doing running or walking, get a dog for walk, get earphones and listen Joe Rogan and whatever drives you to stay outside for 1hour running/walking

Do not buy/consume drugs such are proteins creatines and stupid things along (trust my comment)
Buy this: (start consuming after 2 weeks of workouts, let your body deal with changes)

This is enough for you to cut a bit your negative habits

To let your mind breath and think more clear

To get tired and give your body necessary regeneration, improve rest/sleep time, activate testosterone (do some dead lifting and squats at gym)

To gain confidence, to feel more healthy, to start worrying about your body and yourself more, create good habits.

You will meet someone at gym, running, walking dog, even boxing/mma, and you can start building some new relationships with healthy people.

Just don't mention you do IM and you got cash :D never reveal those things to nobody, keep yourself safe and secured. Distance is good :)

Also, remember: habits are everything (we do) so make sure to think and process your actions, because your actions are your habits!
You better know what you're doing, else you are automated machine with 70%+ of bad habits.

Hope I helped and good luck, brate :D

I do drink coffee and smoke. That's pretty much all I do :D

Thanks for the comment, brate ;)

No sex in a year. Wow.

Yeah, well, it is what it is..

oprah winfrey

No I'm good jacking off it's all good thank you bye :D

Maybe it's time to start a volunteer-kind campaign ( there should be a lot of NGOs, from different social areas ) for a while. Doing this, you will improve your social skills, meet new people with similar interests and ( maybe ) you will get an awesome gf. I think it's the best way to restart your social life.

Cheers!

That's an idea. Thanks.

Start local retail business you get out from loneliness and sure you will make real world friends.

You should learn how to socialize. Now that you got money and everything you could go out and meet new people, make friends. Those people will introduce you to other people. Go to a bar or a night club and just randomly start a convo with somebody, so you can feel comfortable at first.
You can do it. Btw which country are you from?

We go 7 years back. Im sleeping well dressed and well covered cuz its cold and i dont wanna turn on heating so as to not spend unnecessary money on electricity. Every time i exhale some steam comes out of my mouth. Maybe its not called steam... You know, smoke-like thing...

Today, in about 3 months i should be movong in my 55 2m / $55.000 apartment. I have enough savings to stop working today and give myself $600/mo, and live like that for 5 years without making a cent. The average salary in my country is like $300/mo, just to get some perspective. I got a nice car, about $3.000 worth, and i got a coupla computers and lap tops, about $3.000 worth. I have my business that makes me money every month, and i have a shit ton of digital assets (websites, domains, social pages, emails), which if i decided to sell would probably bank me... I dont know... Lets say at least $10.000+

On the other hand, i have no friends, no social life, my social skills are super suspect, and i havent had sex in like a year. I dont wanna go to a prostitute, and tinder and badoo are not working out for me anymore for some reason. And im getting older, closing 31 in a month.

So... why am i telling you all this? I dont know...

I feel like im almost done. Im secure. My apartment is almost ready, and barring and unpredictable fuck ups, ive secured shelter for myself for life. Yay :)

But then, like, now what. I dont have the same motivation to work like i once did. I do my work and i go through the motions and everything, but its not the same, im not hungry anymore.

But on the other hand, my existance has been so focused and revolving around money for a very very long time, that i cant really spend any money because im fucking terrified of losing it. Because it goes fast, and shit runs downhill. I can literally have a slow week and i find myself losing the motivation to eat, do anything costly. Its weird.

So i dont know. Just one of those days.

Your problem is fear.

You had nothing to lose before, so you got some success, but you now have something to lose so fear is holding you back from the next step.

You don't have to become a multi-millionaire, but $35k in savings is not enough to take your eye off the ball.

You need to get that to $500k in savings, all while keeping your living expenses the same. That's the key. Never increase your living expenses until you've got so much momentum you couldn't possibly go back to scratch.

Take $10k of your savings and aim to 3x that in 6 months.

You need to start changing your focus now and thinking in terms of ROI rather than making money. That's how you get to the next level.

These should be your focuses 1) Create a good experience/product and 2) Create a system that generates ROI through that over 6 months to 12 months. Between 3x and 6x.

If you're in SEO it's more long term and you're looking more at 2 years, but most other businesses you should be thinking 6 months to 12 months. Ie, if I put $10k into my business, I will have $60k back in 6 months. If I then put that $20k back in, I'll have $60k in another 6 months, giving me $60k profit in 1 year. You then keep putting more and more money back in. Between 20% and 70% of your reserves depending on your tolerance for risk and while doing that you work on optimizing the businesses. Better ROI, more efficient systems, a better product, better marketing.

Based on your skills and experience and what's made your money pick 1 thing. Just 1 thing you're going to enjoy focusing on and turn it into a business and you'll find happiness and peace of mind follow from that.

Can you start a project with someone who you can get aligned with? Getting a partner and starting a new project can really work wonders as you will feel excited about starting something new and having a new partner to chat/call with and distribute your work load.

are you religious? Faith can move mountains, I really believe this and if you can spend sometime researching about the truth of this world and also about yourself (some call it soul-searching)

No matter what others tell you, you have done decently good for yourself.

You can do even better and get things in order.

If you feel like you are too confused or want someone to talk about life and things, I will be available for you for 30 minutes.

Feel free to PM.

All the best :)

P.S. If women and sex could solve all the problems then every man in this world would be in Bangkok every weekend.

OK, it appears to me that you might have hit a burn out period in your life. Sex is not the most important thing and making money is great, but it should not be the be-all-end-all and define your existence.

I'm currently reading Breakout Blueprint: How to Find Your Passion, Take Action, and Build a Lifestyle Business by Doug Foley and he suggests that business burn out occurs because we fall victim to the money chasing lifestyle.

Examine what you can do better than anyone else.
You say you are good at making money.
Maybe create courses that show people the BEST way to do this. Exactly what you do. Don't give them these cheesy things with Front ends, OTO and what have you. Even if it is higher-end like 1-200 dollars, give them a video course that shows them exactly how YOU have made money and you don't have to have it in your niche if you are worried about the competition.

Or go on forums, see what people need help with, answer their questions, and let them see that oh building WP sites, or setting up Adwords accounts in your field of expertise. Pretty soon, they will be knocking on your door to buy things. Then you will truly have a lifestyle business as you will get what you want by giving others what they want.

It will give you more confidence in yourself and your abilities. You will appreciate what you can do more for others. You will then be able to coach people, right now virtually, and when things open up in your country, be able to do so in real life. It will give you the ability to open up and meet more people, network and you might mean women that way.

Also, be kind to yourself. Go to the park more, jog, walk, run. Re-establish contacts with friends you might not have seen in a while. Zoom them, have fun with them, and always give back to others.

I worked at one point for a dating service and their motto was "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others lives on"

Just a thought. If you are not happy with it, you can just read it and put it out of your memory.
