I personally don't have any bad neighborhoods. East Cleveland is a little shitty, but I live in a west side suburb, so I'm okay.

Google has some Bad Neighborhoods. I can't take information and illustrations that would have taken 6 hours of video to illustrate and explain and summarize it in a 10 paragraph, or even a 10 page post. It is simply too much information to explain in simple terms because it's not as easy as 1+1=2.

Each person must be their own detective for what makes up bad neighborhoods, because I'm not willing to give the footprints I've identified away. That would just add to the further proliferation of chaos caused by people who never even knew who I was, let alone knew that they got their information through a complex version of "Telephone" and didn't understand why they were doing what they were doing.

To beat their new system, you have to understand the complete operating theory of it. That's why the information can't be shrunk down - when you lose details, holes are created that can create footprints that you may not be aware of - or the holes can prevent you from identifying patterns that Google is looking for. It's simply beyond the scope of this post to elaborate on any further, and the answer as stated above is no - I won't give the footprint's away that I've already learned. Too many people on this board have tried to kick me in the teeth every time I try to help, so I don't anymore beyond vague concepts... That's what this post is - a post about the vague reason why people are seeing this happen.

Anyone try to PR leak a parasite from just blog comment's lately? How's that working out? Maybe that was an example of one possible super simple, kindergarten level footprint... maybe not, but that is all you will get for now.

I'm sure that soon enough someone will release a $97 link spammer's bible that will have a lot of this information in it anyways. It's not like I have exclusive knowledge of the system or anything....

What you are witnessing with your blog comments is the 5th step in the negative feedback loop of the link spam identification system that Google put into place months ago. It's actually 4 steps removed what what really is causing the problem.

Unless you work at google, all this is your suppositions, not the truth. Nobody on this board knows for sure how all this works. Maybe you did some SEO tests and drawn you conclusions but that doesnt means that it's universal, there too many variables IMO.

Remember when I said that I'm not the only one with this information? It's in the patents.... Get out of your Hanna Montana gaming chair and put it a little work yourself to read the documents and look at the illustrations in the patents - I'm not here to walk you through it step by step, not my job and I definitely don't feel inclined to after your comment....

There are plenty of Jr VIP's that I've given links to the appropriate patents to. Of course, they didn't start off my interactions with them by telling me I was full of shit, so I guess you're up shit creek - go find them yourself.

In fact all these are about common sense and a lot of us lose it.

Inappropriate usage of any tool is going to harm you... As far as SB is concerned, I just love this and this is the only tool which I use frequently. Otherwise my all work is without any automation and I am quite successful in my approach

Really, this is indeed sort of annoying: people believing this is a 1+1 game despite the fact that many scientists, engineers, etc. are working for this multi-national company.

If you are a programmer or just technically educated, you can imagine what is possible and that dumb-ass link-spam might lead to nothing. And yes, I also believe in the power of patterns and strongly assume that big G will sooner or later exploit all possibilities which are technically possible. What I did not do - so much thanks! - think about are patents, muuuuch better than assumptions.

Total bullshit. You think google is going to determine serps straight off facebook and twitter? Backlinking is getting harder, not obsolete. How else besides off page seo is google going to gauge the popularity of a site? Backlinking will always be relevant to some degree.

I think google does a lot to mislead general public. My theory is that they sure know when there are 2 thousand posts on a stale blog posted 2 years ago and if you are there, they factor this in to your disadvantage.

Yup - this is correct.
It's an ever shuffling deck of cards. 99% of the time just carry on.

Use scrapebox on your web2.0 buffer/link sites more than your own.
A ring of hi ranking articles and web2.0 sites should surround your main site, preferably a structure for each keyword you are after.

Bollox these sites with links however you like. Google is never going to sandbox squidoo or ezine.

we can go around in circles with this debate but at the end of the day backlinks are still gonna be a factor in serps, they gotta be and i tried blasting my competitor with spammy backlinks 10,000 of em and it pushed me down 1 place as they got multiple pages on 1st page afterwards. my interpretation is lay off the pr0 backlinks and keep to pr3 or above and you shouldnt see any difference !

What Cutt's said is mostly true. Google will store the data and maybe build a "case" on you to establish a pattern for future algorithm improvement, but the worst that's going to happen is they just don't count the link.

THE ONLY SITUATION WHERE YOU WOULD GET DIRECTLY PENALIZED WOULD BE SPOOFING/FAKE REFERRER, CLOAKING, OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE THAT COULD BE DIRECTLY TRACED BACK TO YOU. CASE CLOSED.

Quick Update:
I think its important people get a follow up to these sorts of posts. I don't want to tempt fate but it seems 2 of my 6 sites have now hit first page for my main keywords. A couple of big keywords at no. 1. I can only guess the other sites will follow suit shortly!

Ok here is a tip:

If you scrapebox the shit out of your websites that were ranked ok everytime you do a massive scraping be sure of 2 things.
1) after you scrape (ie. comment post) change all your metatags for something similar but not the definitive ones that you want to rank for.
2) point #1 includes Page title, page description and keywords (essentially the order of them)

I also suspect that they patent concepts which they do not use, more likely for the purpose of preventing their competition from using those tactics, but if it throws off some blackhatters, all the better for them.
