50% LOWER bounce rate = 25% LESS conversions // How did that happen?!?!?!?!

Hey everyone,

I am looking at my Analytics and my brain is about to explode.
I updated the website 3 days ago.

My traffic is the same as last week around 10 000 visits, page visits per session are more or less the same, average stay - the same, the registration landing page functions the same (checked on mobile, different ips, different browsers, didn't find problems with it).

The difference is:
Convention rate drops 26%
Bounce rate drops 53%

Needless to say, I am a newbie when in comes to those things, but for me this is inexplicable ....

What updates did you do to the website?

Seems clear those updates you did 3 days ago are responsible.
How volatile were the CR & bounce rates prior to your update?
