Ill spend $50 on breakfast easily for the family on the weekend.
 
The minimum wage in my country is $200(monthly). It is not so difficult to guess what can be taken.
 
I don't even do the food shopping. Italy. The average salary is around 1,200 Euros
 
I moved in a relatively cheap country (SEA) but living with $50/mth?

It sounds impossible.
 
$50 won't fill my car with gas. It'll buy me + 1 lunch. Step outside of my apartment and poof there goes $300. Best to just stay inside all day.
 
Depends on the type of economy.
In capitalist manual labour and products are expensive. In socialist machine services and products are expensive !!

That is enough for food for a month in my country if you cook on your own. At the same time, if you visit a very hi-fi hotel, you might not get one time meal with this much.

Yeah, we did get an electricity price hike recently, but in any case, EUR 30 to 50 has long been a typical bill for an average household here in Latvia/Lithuania.

50 $ = 200 units in my country,about 2 days of work,you can live 3-4 days with this money :D
