    If you're having trouble making it to the top and think it's hard well know that it certainly shouldn't be an easy task or else everyone would be making money. The fact is that there's only 10 spots available for page 1 and everyone wants to be there. The following tips will help you be successful on your way to the top:

    1) Analyze your competitors websites. What have they done to their site? Something about the websites on page 1 Google likes. You need to find out what they are doing right and do it better than them. From on page optimization to meta descriptions. Indexed pages, image count, backlink quality, etc. Analyze everything!

    2) Experiment! Try one approach and see how it works, try another approach and stick with whatever gives good results.

    3) There is always more you can do to make your site better. Never stop tweaking it. 'How can I make my website better/drive more traffic' should always be in your mind.

    4) Always remember the goal of the website. Whether it's to provide convenience, information, or services make sure that you are designing your site around what users want and not for search engines.

    5) Never give up. If you have any doubts in your mind, then you will never be successful. You can make it if you believe in yourself. Take all negativity out of your mind and focus on your work. No excuses.
