No, bryanon was right, I meant I would have paid for it but most of the information is available, just scattered around blackhatworld. If you've read everything in the whitehat section, you should probably just skip my e-book.

The software I found somewhere else but I'll give it away once I launch.

I'll share my finished product for free on BHW when it's done but I don't want to give it out just yet because someone could easily use my re-brand and launch it before I could lift a finger... Anyway, it's probably not worth downloading.. (unless you're a complete noob at IM.)

I'm actually taking a new approach at the sales page, but I think it looks really clean and trustworthy to my target buyer I'm hoping it'll convert well.

I've re-done the landing page literally like 5 times but it's looking really good now. I spent a lot of time making the graphics and such look legit, but it's taking me a lot longer to launch than I originally intended. I keep finding things I want to re-do or fix before I launch. Should I just say "fuck it" and go?

I was going to buy some testimonials off fiverr, but as of now i'm too broke and will probably have to launch and hope for a couple sales, then buy them immediately after the money's available to me.

Also, If anyone knows of the legality regarding faking personal pictures and earnings in the US, I'd greatly appreciate your advice because if I got sued for false advertising or copyright infringement I'd probably be out in the cold.

@bryanon, I really wanted to pick up a copy of your e-book on product creation but I don't have the cash. Hopefully it's not sold out by the time I do =/

Well to be honest with you I am in the exactly same position as you at the minute. Broke and working on a e-book for complete noobs to IM. I've actually wrote mine all from scratch tho and im about 90% done and ready to launch. Just need some graphics and stuff done for the sales page.

As the IM market is tough I'm going to put some effort in to offline marketing. Such as business cards left around in public places etc.

The software you speak of isnt Software Domination by Jeff Alderson is it? I brought that few years ago and tried to dig it up out of my loft recently but couldnt find it.

I don't get also why you would release it free here. Sure you might want to give back to the community, but like you said all your information is already on these forums. Giving it away free here will just cause it to get released on every other IM forum and warez site for free.

Hey, OP, are you open to other offers?

I'm looking for someone to write a complete product and bonuses from ground up to sell it at CB. All the soft, graphics and ideas (blueprint map) will be supplied by me. I can't pay upfront, that's why I offer 50x50 profits approach.

This year in IM will be all about game industry niche. And my product is in this category.

Highly illegal. Google "FTC guidelines" and take a look at this as well: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/10/endortest.shtm.

I'm delighted

It probably will be sold out though as at the current rate we'll stay live for another 2-3 days at most.

Not unless you have a proven track record of having done $30k+ launches before or an absolutely genius marketing plan - something that will make me fall off my chair.

If all you can bring to the table is ideas and a blueprint map then it would make sense to me to pay someone $500 for the exact same things and launch the product on my own, rather than JV with someone and possibly end up paying them 100x more

I write copy for a percentage-share all the time! The percentage is 100% though, as these are our own products that I write copy for

Jokes aside - no. Unless there's something absolutely AMAZING that the other party can bring to the plate. As I said above, I very rarely write copy for others anyway - be it for a fixed price or for a percentage. And this is likely to stay that way until they invent something that will make time elastic.

The best sales is copy is the one that makes YOU yourself want to purchase. That's how I lay out the ground work for my sales copy. I've been around the block a couple of times in this arena and MOST of the time, I can spot over-hyped copy vs feasible adcopy and the product for the over hyped 9/10 is usually trash.

My rule of thumb in adcopy is to under Hype and Over deliver. works everytime. Keep the fluff to yourself and your format better not be painful for the casual reader.

100% correct.

By the way, something I like to do every so often is FIRST put together a sales copy and then build a product around it. This basically allows me to put together the perfect sales copy without being "limited" by what the product is - and later on I have to create the product in a way that it lives up to (and hopefully exceeds) the sales copy.
