$4500 investing on PBNs?

Hi, guys.

Recently I got an investor who can invest up to $5k. We've to give 35% profit and if a loss, he will bear it.

Our plan is,
We already have 5 affiliate sites ready to rank (Content, On page is finished) Just need off page to rank.

We are planning to build 10 PBNs, domains from auctions, outsourcing content, etc. And from the 10 General niche PBNs, we will be linking to the 5 money sites.

If it gets ranked, we have to share 35% profit from all the 5 websites.
If we failed to rank, he will bear the financial loss.
Is it a good idea or you guys have any other suggestions?

Sounds like a safe bet. If it'll work, I bet you could just learn from it and make another preety similar project where you'll take the risk and profits yourself while keeping the steady 65% income.
Even if it doesn't work, I think you'll be able to learn a lot from the process. Just bare in mind the once you got an investor you'll have to work more seriousley and often to things that on any other situation you'd probably "will do tomorrow".
 
So you are going to spend $4500 on 10 PBN sites? $450 per domain?

$4500 for only 10 PBNs? Better throw the money elsewhere man.
 
Unless you have personal money to blow like a prostitute does after my long day at work, then I would suggest to invest no more than $1000 starting out on expired domains.

Once you start to see your website ranks increasing put another $1000 up. Simple. Don't invest the whole 5k up in one day.

Also if those 10 expired domains cost about 5k than they each better have links from apple, nfl, and nba.com
 
Cmon, you can do it cheaper, only 35% wtf? And 10 domains pointing to 5 money sites can be fishy for google, you must hide every footprint :) If I were in your position, I would accept the job right away :)

Expired domains you gonna 301 redirect to your money site ?
 
You can put together 10 pbns for $800-$1000 including content and hosting for 12 months.

Build a pbn for 1 of the sites and start ranking it, then repeat x 5.

That way you have protection - if your first attempt fails you can do better on next attempt.

By site 3/4 you should be flying.

YES, BUT WE CAN'T GET GOOD DOMAINS FOR THAT PRICE. WEAK ASS RD10-20

Well no idea who you work with mate, but I can guarantee, that for $100 a domain I can get you some pretty neat stuff. Sent you a PM. :)

I just analysed your domains which you sent. 80% of them was reused or has parking / blank page in wayback :/

Reused how exactly? They are perfectly clean both anchor and history wise and even still indexed.

And the fact that there were parking pages in the past has absolutely no impact on anything. Majority of the expired or auction domains that you will ever see had a parking page on them for some time. When registrar holds the domain for some time until it gets to auctions, there are parking pages, so not that this can be avoided and it has absolutely no impact on anything. Let alone SEO properties of the domains. I will gladly continue this conversation in private messages.

This is great advice.

Another thing I'd add is : never go more than 60% on the first try. You got 5k to invest? Risk no more than 3000 of it. Unless you've done this before and know exactly what you're up to.

I don't know why I feel like punching someone when I read post like yours, no shit expired domain is going to be blank page :facepalm:
