I stumbled upon a keyword that has more than 49k searches in my country but yield no result in SERP analysis when I Search into Semrush.

and it says difficulty is 89%

no ad on 1st page

It is a word I didn’t know even existed, and apparently its more like a word invented by a brand. Looks like a mashup word. Apparently a product.

when I type on google, it asks me if I meant another word (google thinks it’s a typo because the word suggested has no relation to the kw)

I think the brand that invented the word has no clue the kw is so huge, their website has no SSL, and website is not even trying to compete for anything, they just have the kw on their website, they rank 1st with almost no competition, apart from some news articles talking about them and the kw they invented, and some weak websites trying to sell the same product.

brand has not even 1k like on FB

On their site, they say they appeared in the news, and some other ”big names” talked about them

kw is closely related to a very niche activity That has around 1k searches

But there is something odd, they only have max 500 traffic per month (semrush analytics), but we also know that semrush couldn’t find any result for the kw, hence no 49k volume, maybe

I am very confused

Semrush clearly show 49k volume for the kw, With no result in SERP analysis, brand website appear on first page when I searCh said kw, but traffic don’t appear even close To 40k when I analyse the brand website. It’s 150 for this month.

even with kw everywhere it shows 49,500 volume

can someone shed some light ? Should I go for this kw? Is this some kind of bug?

Try writing a good piece of content about it on one of your domains and index it. If it appears in the first 30 results after indexing, shoot your shot.

Right away after indexing? Or I need to wait

If it's low competition it should rank high instantly after indexing. If you want you can shoot it to me in a PM, I'll take a look too.

Ahahah likely not I will do that

BUT I just saw that the kw got 200k IN USA and same observations, not appearing in SEMrush SERP analytics, 90% kw difficult, no ad, no other related kw
wtf

The fact is all Keyword tools does not give a 100% accurate report , you will have to dig down deeper to find the true competition.

Kw difficulty is bs most of the time. Especially for e commerce keywords. 10 sites on page 1 could have DA 90 still ahrefs would say difficulty is 0 if they dont point backlinks to their product page

it can be accurate number, but the volume of seach may come from ads campaigns, and it may not last for long.

Well, I think the volume 49.5k is for the suggested keyword which is a pretty common one. Goole assign the same volume to both of them even though they are completely different.

It's like coconut which has 27k searches in my country
and some brand decide to create a "cocoonuz" product, but this one will have like only 100 searches

Google will suggest "coconut" when you will search for cocoonuz, and will assign the same volume, hence 27k

Also, I checked on Google trends and the kw has some pics but overall volume is nowhere near its counterpart

So basically, the Big G gave a false alarm and you got your hopes up over nothin'?
