And 11 years on the forum (on and off). I know it’s a bit late but thought I should document it. It has been a hell of a ride.
I’ve seen users make this forum a home. I’ve seen users find success here. Some of those guys stayed while others moved on to greener pastures. Some of them stopped checking in suddenly and others bid adieu as they moved on from IM in general.
I may have disagreed with a lot that has happened in this forum but that’s because I’m a cunt and have very strong opinions. But the forum, and the people in it have played a very important role in my life growing up. I was 15 when I first joined it and was a social recluse so the people here were the only ones that mattered. It was also refreshing to see that a lot of other people on here had the same social issues I did. You know what they say about finding friends with the same mental illness (or whatever).
Too many users that helped me through some dark times that I can’t mention them here. And I’ve tried my best to do that for newer members that have signed up after me (some of whom ended up having shitlists and getting banned but oh well…).
I guess the point of this thread is that there IS no point and I just wanna thank everyone who signs-in day after day, month after month, year after year making this forum what it is..a HOME.
