40 Unique article and 0 traffic

It is pretty early to be expecting results at the moment. People generally don’t even tend to start optimizing their websites before they are about half a year old. What you should do is make sure that the structure of the website is taken care of well. This way you will be sure that once SE get to your website through backlinks, they will be able to properly distinguish what your website is and what it’s about. Once you are done with that, start growing your backlink profile. Get some relevant links of decent quality and the process will start. Make sure that the links you get are relevant and are also not “too good” - everything has to look organic for it to work out (and it wouldn’t really make sense for a brand new website to have 10 DA 90 websites link to it).

Hi guys I created a new website last month. So far 40 article average 2000 word each(not spinned or anything all good quality). So far didn't get any traffic yet. I dont know maybe too early. I got Ahref and semrush trials and found low competition keywords and adjusts all the articles with new keywords. Also got link whisperer and created internal links. Hope I will see some traffic soon. I think hardest part will be creating backlinks. I thought unique content was good enough, clearly not.
What does "might be too early" mean? How long did it take to post them? How old is the website? Also.. did you do any keyword research? Are you sure the competition isn't too much for you or on the opposite side, are you sure people search for what you write?

First look at your domain - it was brand new od expired? If expired - look what is indexed / add to gsc plus make sitemap

If all is fine - start linkbuilding (if kw are very easy do some links from time to time and focus on indexing them)

Tip: look at your competitors links (use for this ex. SEO surfer) do the same and it should work (specialy of your content is much better)

Get on youtube and in description link to your website page where you have article.

10 articles, 10 yt vids, 10 backlinks in the eye of the google.

Forty quality articles in a month? Phew, that’s some going! And now what? Take them back off and put them on at a rate of one a week. In that week do guest posts with links for others and promote. Google will keep coming back to you because there’s new content on your site every week.

It is less than 2 months old. First time I got traffic today. It was from infographic that I posted a few days ago.
It is a technology blog. I found low competition keywords with ahref last week and content optimised with rankmath.
Yesterday I optimized for speed I get about 92 page speed score and over 80 for mobile.

Most people here tell you that you need backlinks--that's not true. You can build them, but you do not need them.

Nowadays, Google places all new websites, and also articles on established websites, in sandbox. They won't show up anywhere in SERPs earlier than 3 months after publication. It can be also longer however.

Take my authority site as an example. The site is more than 9 years old, has hundreds of articles, and in February (before corona shit) I had 180,000 visits, mostly from US. Ranking top 3 for many keywords.
Yet when I publish a new article, it still takes at least 3 months until it appears anywhere in top 30 in SERP. Then it typically grows, until it ends anywhere between position 1 and 15 for main KW. The entire process from publication to top 10 position takes anywhere from 3 to 12 months. And I do not build any links...

Conclusion: If you didn't pick an extremely competitive niche, or didn't do mistakes while doing your keyword research, you will eventually start getting traffic. Just be patient and continue publishing quality content, with a decent frequency.

its not that only putting content on website is the right way to get traffic...you have to put some extra efforts too like seo

Without external backlinks I don't think you will rank that easily, especially if its a new domain.

Good morning,

It is sad to hear that it took you so long. From the other side - congratulations on a (probably) great infographic :)

basic questions:
1) have you got sitemap?
2) is the site submitted in G Analytics?
3) is the site in your G "Search Console"?

and the main: 4) Are there keywords in top 100? if yes - just keep tracking and working with them.

best of success!

Website too young yet. You should allow some time and get backlinks in this process

I think you are right. I had 2 organic traffic yesterday ( yes just 2) and this was my record so far :) Normally I never get traffic. I think its true it needs time and backlink

If need more time.since you are passiv, Some site need years. If you want it faster do some promotion. SM etc

Some websites take longer to get traffic, so improve quality backlinks, guest posts and social signals to increase traffic.

This is the big mistakes a lot of folks make, they write and wait for traffic. Go and promote your content on several platforms. Build your list. Creates videos. Start a campaign and invest a few dollars. I think there are several free traffic sources out there.
