This method belongs on WF, OP makes out that business owners that use these free alternatives have no clue of what they doing, they do... the times that business owners don't know shit about the internet are long gone, the reason that they take the weebly route is because they don't have the budget to build a full blown website.
So you're targeting leads that you know are low on funds and you try to sell them with cold calling, the most hated way to contact business owners, i am willing to bet that OP never made $4- with this method as it stinks on all sides, the lead generation stinks, the leads stink, the way you contact these people stinks.
It is a piece that doesn't belong here but on WF, cus that place stinks too. @OP If you think i was bashing your method, then your absolutely right because you're sending people the wrong way up the track.
Wanna make real money from local business owners?
Here is a simple method that works always
- Pick a niche (like plumber landscaper)
- Pick a problem (like leaking faucets, rotting tree)
- Pick a city any city will do (when you're a n00b start with a small town first before you go after NYC)
- Create a site in that niche around that problem (like a plumber site specialized in leaking faucets)
- Rank a site in a town (that is the easy part as you're going for longtail)
- Get a account at Twillio so you can redirect the calls
- Contact local business owners in the same niche true direct mailing (this mean just sent them a simple letter)
- Offer them 10 leads for free (that will get them hooked if your leads are solid)
- Close the deal
Rinse and repeat
This method works because business owners can see right away the added value of your leads to their business after you have give them 10 leads for free, and they will never leave you cus you bring them money.
Have a good one
