365 days without ejaculation + internetmarketing

Good lord man a whole year?! I believe you can fap too much but your going to be a nuclear reactor ready to explode! Its definitely not a bad idea to do it less but a year is overkill. I think your going to have a tough time working because youll get distracted by everything even remotely sexy.

OP got some balls if he can do that, it take, at this stage of his life, an extreme willpower to be able to restrain yourself like that.

Thanks for starting it. It will be a motivation for me as I am also trying to stop this. hehehe

It gets easier after forcing yourself to restrain and staying focused on other things. I did it in the past for maybe 3 months before saying fuck it.
First you feel really driven and good about yourself - and then you see that one hottie that screws it all up. In a great way.

OP hasn't given us an update yet. I'm willing to bet he gave up on day 2.

Good luck with your Journey OP! :D

hi guys,
iam 21 years and from germany, iam doing IM (not very successful) since 2 month. In this Journey i try to "upgrade" my mind and get new perspectives to the online business and other things.

while reading a thread i came up with the stupid idea to stop my sexual desire for exact 365 days. At the moment i am single and masturbate like 5-8 times a week. I hope i can achieve this goal because i think it gets harder ( ;) ) each week while looking at hot girls.

til now i am earning a bit money through micronichsites and a bit ppd. But i want to develop something that does any good to the people. something that will be remembered.

I dont update this every day maybe once a week. Earning will follow i post them once a week

cheers :)

BTW, is it too late to ask you if you're a guy or a gurl/gyal/grrl?

:D

Honestly when I see a thread like this I seriously feel like donating whore money so he can get laid
and get out of the virgin zone. People saying jerking off ruins sex drive never had sex better than fapping.

Seriously... f&*k that. If you don't crank one out every now and again, you'll be getting boners in public and trust me, you don't want to be that guy.

That's not such a bad thing, I've had a boner many times in public and many stand around and admire, some even take pictures because it's that big. If you have a really big dick then you can pull it off, then again mine is a contender for the world record so what can you expect ;)

Guard your sex energy like gold.

For no matter how much you have you only have so much.

Spend money frivolously, lose financial security.

Spend sexual energy frivolously, lose the friendship of God.

I gotta more difficult journey to go 365 days without reading this thread....

This is a fucking hilarious read.

Do you need medical proof for everything?

snip

"The Cambridge University neuropsychiatrist Dr Valerie Voon has recently shown that men who describe themselves as addicted to porn (and who lost relationships because of it) develop changes in the same brain area - the reward centre - that changes in drug addicts."

So we see, the brain does change. Okay, the study is not yet published, but you get my point.

"Exposure to lurid images and films in the new media is de-sensitising so many young people that they are increasingly unable to become excited by ordinary sexual encounters, a report said."
"A 'paradoxical effect' is created whereby with each new thrill, or 'dopamine spike', the brain loses its ability to respond to dopamine signals, meaning that porn-users demand increasingly extreme experiences to become sexually aroused."

All proof you need is to visit some forums related to the topic, for most addicts their dick does not get stimulated anymore by soft porn, they look for something more stimulating, just like druggies, one line of coke isn't enough after a year, that's boring, need more and more. It may not affect you or me, but we're all differently wired. I don't need medical proof for something that is so simple to understand and makes totally sense if you only had watched the video or read more than one word on the site I've posted.

It's fairly worrying when someone refers to the dailymail and other newspapers when asked for scientific evidence.

You're essentially believing what a commercial entity prints who's sole job it is to MAKE MONEY with what it prints. You may as well paste a sales page for a weight loss product and cite it as scientific evidence. You think because the daily mail and other papers says "a study" then mentions "changes in the brain area" that we have a solid scientific conclusion that porn and masturbation damage the brain and decrease quality of life?

There's a reason that real scientific studies are extremely difficult to perform and that rigorous testing has to be performed before conclusions are carefully extracted from the results. Long term meditators have "changes in the brain area", so if I was running my own newspaper I could say "Studies have shown that meditation causes changes in the brain area of participants. Long term meditators suffer from increased anxiety and decreased memory"

Because I've just quoted some "study" and some nonsense about changes in the brain area suddenly a bunch of people are on forums posting my article saying "OMG LOOK THIS IS PROOF THAT MEDITATION CAUSES INCREASED ANXIETY", next a few will say "Oh yeah.. I mean for proof just look at the forums and you'l find loads of people talking about it".

Here you go

(I tried to paste links to forum posts of people complaining about anxiety while meditation, but I can't as I'm under 15 posts. Instead google meditation increased anxiety forum to find them)

Scientific proof that meditation is bad for you and causes anxiety. Get the picture?

NB I'm not saying porn is good or bad. I personally believe it does cause issues with the reward system in the brain, but what you've served up isn't even close to proof.
