35,000 word article.

Hey friends,
i write an article related to week wise pregnancy from 1st week to 40th week which is around 35,000 words.

i just need to know should i make a single post of 35,000 or should i divide it into 4 parts (10 weeks each in a post)??

ur help will be appreciated.

Create a Main Page write different things about pregnancy, write weekly things in different posts and give their link in the main page :)
 
35,000 words to one article, of course. This will skyrocket SEO and improve rankings dramatically. Don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. Who is going to outrank you if you have one article with 35,000 words of content? You ever think of that? No one. Google will be ranking you top spot for content like that.

The average reading speed is supposed to be 300 words a minute, which would make your "article" just shy of two hours reading.

Split it up into multiple articles based on logical groupings and you'll have a huge amount of content for an authority site, assuming it's well written.
 
Divide 35000 words into the series of 10 or 12 different articles of 3000/4000 words each. Choose definitive heading for each subdivision.
Post them weekly, not at once.
 
dude ! you can even divide it up to 50 article, and write a main article with general information and a leading links to others
 
Divide them into smaller and interlink everything.
Build links to each article by its needs, build mini PBN for each article.

Probb, you will be ranked #1 for SHITLOAD of long tails and high ranking on main keywords
 
Congratulations on writing such a long article lol. You can divide them by weeks, and in your blogs menu, have the menu divide the articles like week 1-10 11-20 21-30 31-40, this will ensure great user experience and pregnant women generally know what they're looking for. Interlink with anchors, but ideally you should have a previous/next style navigation at the bottom and top of each article, as it's the easiest way to go to the next week imaginable. It's meant to be read week by week so this is important. This is good if you want ad impressions, worse for SEO.
Better for SEO and your long term website success is dividing those weeks by relevance, as in dividing weeks by important points in pregnancy, not evenly like 10 20 30 40. This is better for both user experience and SEO, as relevant weeks will rank better, same keywords.

You can pack the whole 35k words into an ebook and get extra value from it.
 
35,000 words is practically a small book. So just make it easy for your readers. Give them ways to find certain sections easily. It can be all in one page, but it has to be easy for your readers to get around the article.

If this is an article that is better if its kept together, add a table of contents that jumps to that section very easily.

Do what feels right to you. There is no rule. Most people will give you rules to follow. The only reasonable rule is to make the readers have a good experience while reading it and while coming back to read it.

And here is me, whining after writing 5k words article.
 
Definitely go for splitting it into multiple parts; ain't nobody got time to read all at! Even if you include good menus to jump to certain sections of the post, people might get confused and eventually leave. I can't say what effect a 35,000 word article would have SEO wise though. If it was so easy to get top spots with a massive word count article, everybody would've just done that.

exactly, i divide article in 4 parts.

1-10
11-20
21-30
31-40

sometimes even writing 500-1000 words looks very difficult.
