301 redirect problem.

I've tried to 301 redirect my non-www to www by .htaccess file but it failed and my site was down. how can I 301 redirect non-www to www properly . my site is in WP. thanks in advance.

Meybe you can tray with same scripts for redirecting to 301

WP is quite simple to handle.

First, make sure your dns zone for www and non-www point to the same server.
Then, in wp, you just have to go to the general settings and change your address to non www.

It will just now reload with the good address.
