Instantly. I bought new domain, did a redirect and (after you can see on the graph) I got traffic immediately.

Have you also revamped the webpage layout and branding for your new website?

Do you handle 301 redirects by mapping each of the original 10 articles to the most relevant articles on the new website (assuming the new website will also have around 10 articles), or do you redirect all of them to the homepage of the new website?
 
We’ve had several google core updates , I doubt there would be any update
