    Hello friends,

I am looking to get an expired domain related to my niche for 301 redirections to my main website.

Just wanted to know is it really useful in terms of SEO performance. Considering it's 2017, am I going to get my website ranking boost on google.

I agree with @Nargil. The only benefit I can see is if you are lucky enough to have found a domain directly in your niche to possibly gain from the link profile 'referrals'. But that then depends on the link profile and traffic from those pages.

That's what I am asking for, in case if I find the niche expired domain, would it help to boost ranking in SERP.

Thanks, @Nargil and @bathead for replying to the thread.
