Hi,

I want to know that will PR4 domain that was banned by google (not indexed) will Permanent 301 help in the backlinks? its a valid PR4 domain with my niche related links.

Looking forward to hear from you guys
thanks

The penalty may eventually transfer over to your new website. If you reasearch case studies on this forum this has happened in most cases.

301-ing a deindexed domain to a money site is definitely not a good idea imo.

Yes, its the common recommendation not to point it on your moneysite. The penalty will move not immediatly, but after some time it will.

I had a site that was pr3 and got slapped with a -50 manual penalty for about a year or so. Just last week I 301'd the domain to a relevant site that is 8 years old and had white hat work done and ranking 20-300 for about 20 tough keywords and within 48 hours, every single one of them dropped off to no where and ones that were not ranking popped up. Either the penalty transferred instantly or the 301 was possibly just too strong for the site taking the juice. I am just now starting to get into SEO and was testing it and was shocked to see it drop off so quickly. Here's my graph:
Went down

Went up
http://gyazo.com/3deaca1687d33171c808bb460cb91c7c

Again, I'm far from a knowledgeable SEOer YET, just giving my input on this. Also, it was a site that was the exact same niche, same keywords and everything.

Thank you every for all your replies.

No point use of de indexed domain.

thanks

i have one other question. 301=money site. so if money site is hit, wont the 301 be affected?
