Hi, one of my colleagues moved to a new place, got new laptop, new IP.

She made FB account from windows and signed up using email. Couple of minutes later she got notification account was suspended and asked to verify number.



After she did mobile OTP, account is running okay and it been like 1.5 months.

So, is the account already bad in the bot's eye ? Can it anytime now ask for photo ID?

She has a common name like for example Jessica. Jessica is a common name maybe that's why this new account was suspended after creating? Because IP was new, device was new, signed up using new email.

FB can ask for ID so your friend needs to have that in order.

Granted, they are the world's worst, maybe the Universe's worst, at customer service so if they ask for ID the response given by Jessica could possibly end up in the circular file next to some FB drone's desk.

Yep but what could have caused the instant suspension after account creation? Any idea? New ip, new device, new location, new email....

Yes, they can most likely ask for ID verification any time. Most probably if she tries her account on another device or another IP. This could have happened because of many reasons like: New Location, New IP, New Device or even could have been because of the posts she made on the account.

sadly facebook never needs a reason to ban or suspend
if it sees something suspicious the hammer falls
