30 Autoblogs Deindexed today - $50

Also had my first autoblog attempt deindexed:
1 root domain, 9 subdomains.
All different templates.
Automated backlinks through the onlywire plugin.

Possible causes: (????)
- scraped (unmodified) content
- most backlinks were from web2.0 sites
- too many backlinks too soon (more backlinks than indexed pages).
- too many posts (about 10 a day per subdomain)

Next attempt: more subdomains, less posts per blog, content: from a database with some other content mixed in to make it more unique, only automated backlinks: twitter.

Let's see if these survive more than 2 months.

From G in regards to dup content "However, in some cases, content is deliberately duplicated across domains in an attempt to manipulate search engine rankings or win more traffic. Deceptive practices like this can result in a poor user experience, when a visitor sees substantially the same content repeated within a set of search results."

If someone can interpret this then we can once and for all determine if dup content will get you deindexed.

For me, none of my autoblog got deindexed...

(1) i started my autoblog one at a time.
(2) i register a new root domain for each autoblog (a waste of $$$ but will earn back in no time).
(3) i publish less articles for a start.
(4) i never monetize it until a few weeks later.

Thanks, I will keep these point in mind for the next batch of blogs.

Your result is quite similar to mine. Please let us know if your new attempt works. :)

This is million dollar questions that everyone is dying for .... but the area, I believe is still very grey. The de-indexed i believe is done by human, which makes it more complicated.

I want to create 10k autoblogs

But seriously will adsense got mad if we use autoblog? Do you get your adsense banned?

I just start building a few autoblog sies using wprobot, hopefully they can stay a bit. Anybody has any recommendation on how to rewrite the original content to get unique content?

I tried wordpress rewriter and it sucks.

Duplicate content won't necessarily get you deindexed, but rather Google will identify a page as duplicate content and the page won't rank well. Essentially what Google is saying above is that it does not benefit the user to have the same article ranked #1 through #10 in the search engine results. Google would rather identify the original source and rank that #1 then rank other unique pages that add value to the user in the #2 through #10 positions.

Also, from my experience, it appears that if Google recognizes that a lot of the pages on your website include duplicate content then even the unqiue pages will also suffer in the search engine rankings.

Sorry I cannot ans that bro because I did not pull feeds, my scripts scrap directly from search engine.

so you search for specific niche on search engine and posting it to your blog.

the one i want made is a script which looking for a specific niche one search engine, following the link and grab the content after that make the content unique to show both title and content but didn't mess up the content mean

Hi,

It's has been more than a year since I created my autoblogs.

Just some updates:

1. I left my autoblogs running for the last 1 year
2. They were left unattended
3. 25 Autoblogs were deleted due to spam after some months
4. 5 Autoblogs remaining today
5. Surviving blogs have around 10k post to date
6. Total Revenue from the 32 autoblogs -> $250 since May 2009
7. There are 5-10 visitors per day on each blogs
8. On Average the autoblogs made $25 per month before majority was removed
9. The top 20% of the blogs generate 80% of the revenue
10. Now my monthly average has drop from $25/pm - $4/m

Some learning points

1. Getting deindexed doesn't mean there is no more income
2. If you didn't improve, your income will drop
3. It was fun to work on the hobby project and receive little allowance from it
4. I was too lazy to create the new batch of autoblogs :(
5. It's good to pay attention to high paying keywords as compared to popular keywords

Thanks for the post. Autoblogging is limited, it isn't worth the time or effort that most people put into it, and the majority of autobloggers will never be able to make more than a couple hundred dollars even after putting in hours and hours of work. There simply isn't any upside potential. Autoblogging sucks dick.

Thanks for posting this, and most of all, thanks for continuing. Most people would've given up by now and said screw it...I will say that getting back on your feet and testing/trying again...well, you're more successful than most of the people here.

interesting post and don't ever give up. it is always good to learn from these kind of experiences

Wow, this was a very long, but interesting read. Im about to start autoblogging myself, looking for tutorials, testimonials, ect.. here on bhw.. I have a quick question, at the moment, I have 1 root domain (.info), and like 4 subdomain blogs, relating to defferent niches.. (i've only messed around with uploading wordpress and plugins) As I'm trying to completely figure out wp robot, and other peoples methods. Would you say that having the root domain as the only blog is better then, lets say 4 subdomain blogs, with the root domain acting as a portal?

personally I am using subdomains for subniches like when I have the main domain razor.info then I set up niches like: female.razor.info electric.razor.info

this is the first time i have heard of someone running an autoblog on blogger that wasn`t just feeding an rss into it.

R,

Were the blogger autoblogs blogger for domains or were they bhw.blogspot.com style? When will you release scripts for blogger?
