3 year old website 3k views monthly

Thank you Zwielicht, but I would think 3,000 views would be enough of a sample size to test monetization. I understand the purposes of scaling and optimaztion, but if I can't figure out how to monetize 3,000 people... would i monetize 30,000 any better?
Actually, you make a good point! If you're not experienced with monetisation, then I completely understand why you want to try testing a smaller audience rather than building a larger audience that would be much less forgiving than the smaller audience if you make a mistake (place too many ads, sell an irrelevant product, etcetera). :)

You can monetize your website/blog by placing pop-up and pop-under ads. They all have around 1 dollar CPM which means enough money for your hosting and domain name expenditures.

Maybe you need to think about traffic before thinking about money :) 3000 per month traffic can't bring you a lot :) Take care of your site and post continue posting unique contents first then buy some little 1$-5$ seo packs from seoclerks !
