How are you going to install CloudFlare and not install the WP CloudFlare plugin for Edge TTL Caching? That's like step 1. Takes your TTFB latency way down. I've seen websites go from 3000ms to 80ms latency.

Next up: Core Web Vitals. ;)

Pick one. If you have both, use WP Rocket. I have to use several paid and free performance plugins across multiple websites and I've found that WP Rocket is the most well thought out plugin of the bunch. You can get the same feature set from other plugins, but it is much easier to manage with WP Rocket.

I have problem setting up WProcket, it rather made my site to load slowly than fast.
 
I used several plugins for speed optimization - wprocket is one of them.
 
No doubt, wprocket is way much better than others
