So Facebook announced 3 new big changes, and the one on the number 3 will hit us the hardest! It will be impossible for a page to become viral and only people who search for it will find it.

1. Facebook users will now be able to see more than one NewsFeed post from the same source in a row.

2. Facebook will start prioritizing NewsFeed content posted by friends.

3. Facebook will begin hiding posts that say what your friends have liked or commented on.

Hmmm, not sure if the 1st change would actually do more good then bad. By condensing a lot of newsfeed in a certain area it's going to start radiating that: Hey guys, this is the area where you'll see all the ads . Doesn't look too attractive, but it's not doomsday so publishers should be able to find a more flexible solution to it if they are impacted by these changes.

Damn, the way I read it was, "we're going to charge super HIGH CPC's to advertisers too". haha.

Well, this sucks. I guess they want that advertising money since they had such a great year last year with those profits.

that's what facebook do, do a lot of changes but time will come user's will still find loop hole to it like my friends and i found last year which rise the number of our fb pages with US users, and yeah there updates may affect some pages

This is going to make a whole lot of people mad, especially business owners who depend on Facebook to gain traffic. I bet a lot of people will complain to Facebook and they will change their minds.

I was talking to a friend of mine who owns a few large FB pages and he told me that traffic from FB to his websites was down on an average by around 20%. I wonder if other page owners are experiencing similar results?
