Macbook, Ipod (back in the days), saw my friend's iphone damaged just after warranty period even though he took care of his phone like a baby.

I have not tried their products but let me tell you what I have seen. I have seen that if a person has purchased an Apple product , the emphasis is on showing the Apple icon instead of the use. May be this thing is limited to people I know.

Its all preference in the end. I have an iphone x and I absolutley love it. People will always view apple as overpriced, well I will always look at android as buggy.

May be they justify the decision of spending so much by convincing others.

What is this cringey neckbeardish holier-than-thou "enlightened" bullshit? This is not a thread for negativity, and you aren't "enlightened" by having the ability to choose one product over another product.
I buy Apple products because they last far longer than market alternatives, are extremely user friendly, have great support, have much cleaner and better organized file systems, and don't experience anywhere close to the bog-down from age that alternative products do.
Sorry your experience was bad. Maybe it was user error. Maybe a few disgruntled whiny customers of a company worth A TRILLION DOLLARS fall through the cracks. Cry us all a river.
