[2025 BHW Indexer Study]

Great share. There is another tool, Sinbyte, whose index rate is good, but blog comments are still the champion when used with the right strategy, along with buffers.

sadly many Indexing services metioned above has gone from bad to worst. Not indexing even after spending!
better to use Google's (free) search console API (from cloud account) that helps to send 100 urls or more daily or use google-news approved sites! It's free and more reliable.

Google has likely rolled out another unconfirmed algorithm update around October 15 to October 18. Search rankings shifted, and many SEO tracking tools showed strong volatility.

Thanks for your efforts. Good to know blog comments still work as indexing method with high efficiency

Here is 2025's update of my 'pretty much yearly' indexer test, testing every current indexing service that has an active sales thread on BHW. This is mainly for my own use, but hopefully the info is useful to others too.

I use orphaned pages to run these tests, devoid of any internal/external links or entries in sitemaps, meaning that there should be no way for spiders to reach these pages without a working indexer notifying them of their existence. I also track exactly if and when Googlebot visits these orphaned pages.

This time I've doubled the number of domains I'm using, so I set up pages on 10 domains that I own, 1 page for each indexing service. These pages have no internal or external links pointing to them, are not included in any sitemaps, and have only been visited via a de-Googled Chrome browser. Each page has 500+ words of complete garbage auto-generated but unique content. The sites already present on all the domains were already naturally indexed before commencing the study.

I'm tracking any visits from Googlebot via the access_log for each domain - no third party stats packages, straight from the main data source.

Since the last update of this study, 1 indexing service has closed their sales threads (LinkGX), and 1 new service has started advertising (Indexing Fire).

When I started this iteration of the study there were 9 indexing service providers with an active sales thread in the BHW marketplace.

All new accounts were set up to conduct this test. No 'free credits' or any other offers were used, all paid accounts.

Additionally, after reading several posts about how blog comments and similar links are not providing indexing support like they used to, I have also tested firing some blog comments at a set of test urls - ~30 <100 OBL links to each url.

How am I checking indexing?

Since Google removed the cache: search operator a while back, I'm now only using site:domain.com/page searches to determine whether a page is indexed or not.

How am I checking Googlebot visits?

I check the access_log file for each domain and look at what is looking at the urls I sent to each indexer. If the url is accessed by a user identifying as Googlebot or GoogleOther, and from a Google-owned IP range, I class that as a Googlebot visit.

I tracked indexing every day for a week, and then followed up weekly, up to four weeks. Time began when the urls were submitted to each service. No 'drip feed' values were given, I went for whatever 'immediate indexing' option each service had.

On to the data!

Additional Information

Link Indexing Expert was the only service that indexed the submitted searchbox parasites (eg. domain.com/?s=search string here).

Indexing Fire, Page Indexer, and SpeedyIndex indexed the submitted .pdf files.
bro this is great work & really appreciate you for taking the time to do all of this. Interesting results, but as i suspected & will continue to focus the most heavily on is the comment section baby

thinking of building my own indexer as well - but speedyindex has everything i want really

A much clearer picture of what is actually indexed can be obtained by testing with orphaned pages.
Everyone here benefits from these insights, so thank you for the effort.

Seems Speedy Index is currently down, what other indexer are people having luck right right now?
Most of the other indexers in this study seem to be working at a similar level to when the study was performed.

Yes, using a properly orphaned page means there is no other route for Googlebot to follow (internal/external links, sitemap entries etc) and so it is 100% down to the actions of the indexer in question to get the page noticed by crawlers.

Les liens vers les commentaires du blog étaient-ils en ********, nofollow ou UGC ? Fonctionnent-ils avec les liens nofollow ?

Thanks a lot

The comments I used were only filtered for OBL < 100. I suspect they were mostly nofollow, I didn't track ugc rel attribute values.

Conclusion

In most cases, indexing longevity doesn't seem as good as the last time I ran this test, but I'm still surprised to see some clinging on. We've even got a couple of urls that weren't indexed by the 28th day check now being indexed - not exactly ideal in the current climate where everyone wants an instant indexer!

None of the pdf files that were indexed previously are now showing as indexed, but the searchbox parasite that Link Indexing Expert managed to index is still in the index.

Until next time...
Cheers!

Steptoe thank you as always for your independent professional reviews and hard work.

We are please to see that UltimateIndexing.com has come in first place with the most backlinks still indexed after 90 days.

It should be noted in your initial early days review we scored the highest indexation rate of 70%.

We are aware of some services which appear to no longer work but we are pleased to say ours is working well and we continue to review and improve it.

Thanks for taking the time to run this tests. All these are service and in one way or another they have manual step involved once you submit the link for indexing. Is that correct ? There is at least 1 manual step involved with each of indexer?
Unlike speedyindexer and omegaindexer which are totally automatic.

I couldn't say for how each of the indexing services works. I would guess that the services that triggered quick Googlebot visits are entirely automated.

No none of them are automated. They are not automated, they are all are manual.
I submitted 6 batch with 2-3 links and they put me in a queue. None of my links was picked up by their manual process in 1 week.
While i submit 6-7-8-9-10-11-12 or many number of batch and how many number of links to speedyindex or omegaindexer they all got indexed in same time which means the indexing was automated.
