hello all
I've bought a new domain name over an hour ago from 1and1 and it's still not in my domain name list.
when I search it on other sites I'm still able to buy it, it's my first experience with them and so far a very slow delivery... how did you guys experience buying domains with them? is the long delivery time normal?

Various reasons why this could occur, I would reccomend calling Support.

Happened to me because my account was registered with a VPN.

it's midnight in my country so I sent them a mail instead. it really sucsk that they don't have livechat like other big guys out there

I chose the country as united states while I'm from belgium, might that be the problem?

Never buy a domain using 1&1, you will probably face some kind of issue in the future

You should check if they have flagged their account. Giving other country is not a problem as such as I do them quite often for fake whois details. Unless you need to take it for $0.99, it is good or else 1and1 is better to avoid. They have messy domain control panel

1 and 1 is probably the WORST of all registrars.

Their billing system is archaic at best and dinoSORE at WORST.

The lag time in the domain officially landing into YOUR account is nail-biting.

Compare their dashboard to: Uniregistry, Moniker, Internet.bs, etc., you will see the difference!
