Hey guys, I am new to PPC campaigning but have recently been running a couple ads on facebook. My 2 ads I am currently running are pretty broad when it comes to targeting but I am targeting Women 30-65 in the USA for a Letter from Santa to their child. I have had quite a few "likes", Shares and commenting on my ads but still 0 conversions. My budget isn't huge so I may not be getting enough exposure.. I have 2 different sets of Ad Copy, 1 is being ran on mobile exclusively and the other on mobile and desktop, both similar response in likes, comments and shares. I previously ran a $100 iTunes Giftcard giveaway, paid on email submits only, similar response to these campaigns, good feedback but 0 conversions. I also ran that one on bing with 4 different text ads, total of 250 clicks, 0 conversions. I am at loss of what I am doing incorrectly or if I need to give it more time. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

G

Both bad offers? The music gift card was as simple as an email submit..the Santa one I'm running now is $19.99.. I'm only registered with 1 affiliate network..should I look into others? Or what would you recommend?

Are you direct linking? If so, try split testing multiple landing pages.

I would try leads that offer $10 payouts or sales that offer $20+ payouts..

It's hard to turn a profit using email submits unless you're getting penny clicks from a laser targeted audience.

Thanks for the advice, the one I am running now would be a $17.90 payout. I am direct linking from Facebook currently. Spent $100 over 5 days and 0 conversions. Avg of .60 per click. I have yet to make a landing page, do you recommend just putting some information on the page with a Call of action that directs to the offer?

Thank you!

Hey, What up ? any news? btw be aware of direct linking on facebook. You can get ban easely . Also if you creating LP try create LP in same color tone like actual offfer page

These are the rules that I follow and you can follow too.

- Get a minimum of 10,000 impressions per ad or get a minimum of 100 clicks per ad.

and check the number of conversions that you get. If it is not profitable kill the campaign..as simple as that..! It can be any reasons below

1. Bad landing page or (test various landing pages with the above rule (10,000 impressions or 100 clicks))
2. Bad product

These are the typical statistics for a banner ad

1. CTR for a banner ad in Facebook around - 0.25%
2. Conversion rate - 0.6%

Compare these statistics with your statistics and rate your campaign..!

It's hard to get conversions through Facebook in my experience. I'd definitely turn to Google Adwords for something like this in the future, however, Facebook is great for gaining exposure to your brand.

that's what i suspect as well, poor offer. It also could be that offer only does well with other kinds of traffic.

bad offer, bad targeting, and misunderstanding of the type of people free lures in.

keep your campaign tight, bid for exact match and choose the keyword that just describes your service...
it will decrease ur clicks but you won't loose money.
conversions come with
- better landing page
- the offer you are offering..
- your TG.

Get another Product and try to promote, you willl see some conversations in them.

I think you need to do a research on your target audience...otherwise FB will suck your $$ within few hours

Hello Mate,

Here are few tips to generate some quick conversions from Facebook.

Keep your campaign setting tight

Keep testing with Ad copies & especially with landing page

Run 2 landing pages with different set of Ad copies

If there is any ongoing offer then mention the same in Ad copies too.

PM me over skype if you need any further help.

i found setting the age range made a massive difference in my conversions, think about what age group would most need your product.
