I guess you will focus on magento and shopify, I see opportunity there. I always used personal reports as a "bait", like a Google Page Speed Insights report for selling mobile websites, and majesticseo backlink report for selling link building services. That is also a possibility to try. Maybe you find a tool for this.

Magento Enterprise.... but no shopify , I will go for a small platform

I like to look at the lower type of platforms and then have a look to www.builtwith.com to really understand the popularity in the market.

You may find that some "smaller" platforms are bigger in different countries. The next step is to understand where does platforms suck ...

Many of them have over 100.000 active users and not one single Author or well known expert about SEO for that specific platform.

This sounds promising. A niche specific marketing company seems like a great idea. A niche marketing service for lawyers, doctors etc. could be awesome provided you get customers. It would be great if you could be a bit more detailed on how exactly you will be getting your leads and other tips.

Right now I plan to try cold email 100%.
So the process works a bit like this

buy data -- I'm buying it via Builtwith.com . is not cheap. Around $350 per month.
Setup a drip email system . you can use any drip email system funnel software. It costs around $99 per month
Send them to a lead magnet.
in this case I'm working on a few different options

1) Book
2) A guide
3) A course

I like the idea of the courses because they can always be sold later on.... and usually based on my previous experience once people do a course with you, there is a high chance of them hiring you also.

So you actually build the authority concept by becoming the trainer and the consultant at the same time.
