As the topic says every since I been getting into building instagrams I realized it is a very slow process (I’m getting around 30-50 followers a day).

While doing this I’m starting to notice regular repost accounts with over 100k followers in very little time. One account I saw had 110k and in 4 months.

Now I’m wondering are these accounts exploting algorithms or are these accounts buying Instagram followers with likes or am I just really doing something wrong.

Either one of those, some just know how to hit explore page, or some might buy followers.

It's important to check the engagement rate of these accounts (# of likes ÷ # of followers) to better determine whether they've grown organically or artificially.

This specific page I’m talking about has 110k followers and gets anywhere from 10k-80k likes

Probably he/she knows how to hit explore page almost every time. I have seen page growing over a million within years with reposting.

Engagement is more important then the amount of likes (although it helps) buying fake followers is a no go and is a waste of your money :)

This would be easy enough if you already have several authority accounts.

100k in 4 months would be possible botting but would require posts hitting the explore page consistently or they are paying influencers.

Who else can tell how others get real 100k followers in 4 months? Without bots. This is only luck? Or a smart selection of niche?

The username is big deal as well.

https://www.instagram.com/kitties/

This guy started posting in June, and he is getting 500k+ views on every post. My guess is the username, instagram loves him and he is on explore every post.

From what I been learning, some people create followings from other sources besides instagram and if you have a team that already has big accounts its easier for them to trickle followers to any page they want.
Also hitting the explore page often gives you access to millions of accounts !

110k followers reposting and hitting 80k likes.

Either we finally located a true magician or (102%) is buying followers.

Read the comments on his posts to see if they're making any sense.

I feel like it's get to a point where people create the illusion of looking real that they are able to trick people into buying promos.

I'm iffy with the username because I seen accounts like ___[name].___ have good engagement and are constantly on the explore page as well. The page you linked is interesting because he doesn't even use hashtags

https://www.instagram.com/kitties/ is buying likes and comments. Most of the comments are left by private accounts. You know what that means.

I'm not doubting that many others do it the right way.

This is not necessarily the case. I find that people that comment on most big pages have their Instagram accounts private. I often try to get top comment on authority accounts in my niche as I find that's a good way to drive traffic to my page. Most of the followers I've gained through this method have been private. It's actually quite rare that I have an account that is public follow me.

Repost Viral content + Big Niche Related Dm groups it’s the key.
If you don’t have a big acc, invest some cash to buy one.

I grew up a 466k in 6 months with this Strategy. When you’re big (over 200k) you can also start some S4S (way higher results if story s4s).

Remember always Niche Related.
