100 PR2 Tumblr Accounts Case Study!

i have 7 tumblr blogs PR2-3 with 120k+ unique/real followers.
i posted my own dance video a few times, gaining some 2500 real views. my video ranked up to #3-5 among 0.5-1M your tube videos on 4 major keywords in about 10 days. unfortunately, the ranking dropped eventually because, i guess, the video is too short (only 26 sec in length). the 1st day my reblog of the video resulted in almost 900 youtube views without seeing any 300 "barrier."

i have used the blogs to post my site for adsense for 1+ years, collecting up to 50k notes on some articles. too bad my site does not have any niche keywords (much like mylikes and chacha). i have hesitated to post links to my niche sites because they most likely won't be interesting to my followers.

btw, the all-tumblr traffic/backlinks has never been a problem even with adsense.

So Tumblr blogs with pr 2 or more and majestic TF of more than 10 should be good option for building tier 1 to the money site?

I provided the accounts and these tumblr blogs had:
- all PR2
- all with PA+27

Haven't checked their TF or other metrics.

Impressive, did you check the metrics of these tumblrs before using? Did you own them or your purchased them?

I am worried about the uniqueness & the quality of content you posted on these tumblr blogs ?
If people are talking about link diversity that can simply be done by using some real comments on niche related blogs + Youtube Videos, Naked Url's or may be related forums also & Social Bookmarks + Social Sharing/Posting can come in handy. Its the way how you think man. I had 2 Web 2.0 Blogs 1 on blogspot & 1 on LiveJournal with manual hand written article in total 10 articles on both blogs directly linking them to the money site with 3 keywords. I used social signals + Social Bookmarks to push those web 2.0 properties and voila i was on 17th Position on a low competition keyword with exact 8500 searches. In about 2 weeks, the rankings still dance between 11-40.

But still i have that question for you. What about the uniqueness & quality of the article content you posted on those tumblr blogs ? Were those handwritten or scraped articles ? Even i want to test it out on some of my affiliate blogs & niches.

Hi all again,

and now a short update of my Case Study.

Excuse me, I've updated this threat so late, because I had a lot to do in the last 3 months of development work.

I had already reported to you about the main keyword and its rankings as well as the increase in impressions. Now to the latest Stats:

The main KW has remained stable at # 3 on google.com and jumps sometimes back and forth for 1 place. The 2 other high competitive KW's still danced between # 30-50 (30 being a very good placement for these KW's is), but what I also find normal since these keywords are really hard to rank. I can say that I have achieved very stable Rankings with Tumblr links can be seen on the image below:


The Impressions Increased also 2 times in average since beginning of the case study such as the CTR from 2% to 4%. The traffic has remained at the same level, but some visitors also came from smaller search engines.


Please note that no further links were set because I took care during this time with other Sites + Development.

One important thing I have yet to add. For whatever reason, I've noticed that about 40 Tumblr links have not been indexed by the 100 accounts! I have now bought the Instant Link Indexer tool and will let index them in DripFeed, so I still have to expect an increase in the SERPs and Rankings with these 40 links. If there is a significant increase, I will inform you.

The last thing I want to say, for me this case study has really paid off and I got very interesting insights about Web 2.0's with PageRank. My Syntese about this Case Study is that its very realistic to rank medium and small keywords stable only with Tumblr Sites with PR. However I did not used much Content, I've used only Images and small Descriptions for the study as mentioned at the beginning of the Case Study, so that the opportunities for efficiency are still expandable. The potential is arbitrarily large, depending on how much time you invest and how good the content is. The best possible effect be achieved when using popular viral content combined with this method (which is easy to find on Tumblr). So you would obtain the maximum effect and receive depending on the niche direct traffic from Tumblr (Depending on the niche, better or worse).

However The best approach would, to combine high PR Tumblr links with the Article and other Links to get a greater diversity of links.

My question is, tumblr suspend the blog after how many years or months of inactivation?

Tumblr dose not suspend blogs for inactivity.

If Tumblr suspends an accounts is because of spam. And that blog/s will never be available again.

What you want are those tumblr blogs, that get deleted by their owners (bloggers). This are the blogs that are available again for registration.

Thank you mindmaster for your reply, I got now 10 expired extracted from 5K blogs, have you any ideas for any keywords related to expiring blogs?

Now i got 900 expired blogs,
any suggestions how to manage most of these without being banned from tumblr?
or at least how to manage 50 of them? for tier 2 backlinks?

It's super easy to get mega authority and a huge following on Tumblr. Just get pictures of a really fat girl from your Facebook and post them on there with text on top like "BEAUTIFUL." and messages like "if u cant accept me at my worst u dont deserf me at my best!!!!!". I swear... You will be a star within a few weeks, and ready to link to your money sites

Another way to get a massive following and links on Tumblr is to post stuff about transexuals, the LGBT community etc. But you have to also use certain words etc. to fit into the community. They will definitely link to you. Write stuff about hating "bigotry" and "___shamers" as well. Big posts will get lots of shares BUT images with cute captions work the best and get the most links. ESPECIALLY if you use an artsy black and white picture with fancy text.

Try it and watch your authority SOAR overnight!

Google is different when it comes to foreign countries.. everyone knows that, and in Arabic it's algorithm still from 2009

You can get away with anything, spam, exact anchor text, anything

So, the OP wasted his time, he could have just blasted his site with GSA and he would have got better ranking
