$100/Day Journey - Good Strategy

Thank-you very much Rahimys, indianfreak, and albimorkal! Yep, I also noticed most people just give up keeping their journey thread updated.

So, it's been an hour since I received Amazons Rejection Email. Funnily enough, it feel worse than being rejected by a crush. Not that I would know, I've never had one.

Anyway, I've taken stock of the situation. I still have (1) Clickbank (2) Cleanfiles (3) Fivver (4) Youtube.

I'm going to pull my site for a bit, and set-up some Clickbank content. When I think about it, it would pay more per sale than Amazon- WAY MORE. Only thing is, people trust Amazon a bit more, and buy from them frequently. Also, it's not like Amazon said "never again", they basically rejected me because I didn't have enough original content (articles and whatnot) on my site, just hundreds of their products. So all I have to do is build up more content, then come back.

So I'll focus my efforts on Clickbank, and maybe experiment with a CPA/Craigslist combo for some quick cash.

Day 226

So, I registered and got accepted to Blackfox, a CPA network. After looking through offers, I found one to promote via craigslist, which I set-up. I just have to gauge results now.

Day 228

I discovered a site that pays me 50 cents (on average) for things like, using search engines, writing comments, etc- really easy things. So, I made an account today, and finished about 9 jobs (and doing more as we speak). If this is what it claims to be, then I will have easy start-up money. I need to (1) Upgrade my hosting plan (2) Buy a second "test" domain, and (3) work up money to place ads for CPA offers and whatnot.

I'll update in a few days to let you guys know if this is what I think it is.

Day 230

MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH.

I've got a plan made out for how I'm going to go about unique traffic generation, CPA, and BANKING HARD!

It struck me right in the middle of using a PTA site- I won't reveal the method quite yet, but if it goes as planned, Lord willing, I should have a bit of cash rolling in within 1 month. Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked!

Wish me luck.

Day 232

I've made an excel sheet detailing how I'm going to go about this 5 step process from a bad situation to freedom!

If I mess it up, it'll take another $40 to restart. I should have things started soon within the week- if step 1 goes smoothly, I will be very relived- at least for a bit.

Day 235

Money is coming in a bit slower than anticipated- may by up to two weeks until I am able to start the 5 step process.

People seem to be doing quite well with PPD/Youtube, so that'll be something I'll look into. I do have that cleanfiles account, and uploading a couple videos to test the waters shouldn't use too much time up.

My website is getting around 25-40 visits a day, I need to find out where those are coming from. Not bad, I only have about 3 articles up.

Hello there StargateSG,

I've read through your journey and I want say; best of luck to you and I hope you continue to stay motivated to reach your goals. You definitely have focus and drive, just keep at it and you will prosper.

This last post you mentioned you need to know where your traffic is coming from. Do you have any type of tracking for your site? I would suggest a site called statcounter first and fore-most, and also google analytics. I love how easy and simple statcounter displays statistics better than any other tool I've seen. Its very fast too on loading pages to see different metrics.
With those tools you can easily see where most of your traffic is coming from. They also give STUPID amounts of details for each visitor. IP, location down to the state, OS, web browser, screen res, and more. That info can help you tailor your site if you realize you get a lot of mobile traffic or visa-versa, and what pages get the most traffic, etc. They both are easy to implement in whatever site you need by placing some code right before the closing body tag of your html code. There are a few ways you can do this in wordpress, a lot of themes now-a-days have a section to put tracker codes and the like.
Recenlty (bout a year now) google made it difficult to really track what keywords people use to find your page but using analytics within statcounter can give you a lot of insight. Google analytics has some cool features in itself too, as well as their webmaster tools.

Thank-you! I will definitely try and implement both of those into my website! I currently don't have any stat tracking, other than what the Cpanel gives me.

Day 238

So, about 2 days ago, I decided to write an ebook. Yesterday, I picked out a good template, and got started on gathering content, and today, I've finished about 15% of the book. My plan is to launch this in about 1-2 weeks, with a promo video, for them to buy off Amazon. I want to give it its own domain name, landing page, etc. I wonder if I can launch it on clickbank as well...hmm.

Now, I am still on track with the 5 step process I mentioned earlier, but that will take $35 to start. I earned (so far) $20, and $9 of that just went to buying a domain name for the book. So, I expect to be able to launch that plan by the middle of November. In the meantime, I'll finish this book.

Day 239

Well, the ebook is on track to being finished. 50% done as of yet, I've got plenty of content, and lots of thoughts. So writers block is no problem. I've decided NOT to buy a domain for this ebook just yet- it's my first one, and it might be complete crap. Knowing this, it most likely IS crap.

I'll wait to see how it does on release- if it can't earn just $10 measly dollars, then no, I'm not buying a domain name just for it. If it does, might as well!

As for the 5 step process- thats not going to work. Since it failed, I can finally divulge its details.

It had to do with pushing a certain CPA networks email submit offer in another system that was sure to get the monetary return for advertising that CPA email offer. However, the email offer is no longer available. So...yeah.

I did find, today, another system that, if it works, I'll share. I'll be able to check it out fully and see if it's viable tomorrow, so I'll update then. It doesn't have shit to do with CPA (it's hard for me to find a network with offers than ACTUALLY work).

Day 241

I don't enjoy writing at all. So the ebook won't be finished, because I am sick of it.

I do enjoy game creation, so I want to learn app creation for IPHONE/ANDROID. Plenty of people have had good passive money from that. So, anyway, I got a fivver order, will complete that later today. Waiting for the PIN to be mailed to me, so I can get the $20 from microjobs and invest it in the system I spoke of earlier.

Day 243

So yesterday, I tested the waters of a similar program/method with a dollar. Today, it's on track to earn 150%-180% more. So it's safe to say that test then, was a success. I haven't tested my main method yet, but I will do that just as soon as the PIN from Microjobs comes in. It will take 1-2 weeks, so that'll give me more time to perfect my plan/strategy, which is vital when trying to make a good source of income work for you.

I finished the Fivver job, (a voice-over), and the customer was quite pleased. I'll even be able to use the video I voiced in my portfolio, so not only did it help me short-term (some cash), it's going to continue benefiting me in the long term!

I've still got my website. Right now, it's just sitting for the most part. A funny thing happened today though. I'm watching one of my favorite youtubers play "The Evil Within". I scroll down and see someone promoting a Steam key for it. I click the link to find that they are using cleanfiles. Now that's not surprising. What is though, is how they set that up. They used accounts that looked real for the most part, to give positive feedback about the key "working", when really, you just got a file that pointed to another file that you needed to download AGAIN, from a different cleanfiles link. Smart. I did the survey though, mainly to find out how a user would feel going through the process, since I have a cleanfiles account. IMO, Sharecash has a LONG history with YouTube so even those who do not know of the PPD system (regular users), know it. And they might leave it alone due to it's infamous history of not giving you the DL.

Cleanfiles looks a bit more user-friendly. I'd really like to know what user from BHW did that though :D

This thread touches on that method a bit, quite a good read:

Day 246

So, it looks like my calculations were correct! My $1 turned into $1.80. So, an 180% return is not bad by any means. This system just might be what I'm looking for. So, I'll maintain and keep this system going!

Now, for Cleanfiles, I'll most likely go for a Blackhat route for the PPD strategy. Gaming is one of my passions, and is very easy to target. I've learned over the past few days that if you can automate something, DO IT. It saves yourself work, and will most likely do more work than you could by yourself anyway.

So off to find a youtube comment bot it is! :D

So far I've made $70.00 through IM.

Day 249

Still working on the method that made 180%. Starting coding a bot today- with the way it works (or is planned to work), and my plan for spreading it, should be foolproof. I just got into coding, so it'll take a while. Thing is, this skill is highly prized, so having it will make a lot of cash in itself.

So thats that.

Day 250

Getting quite a lot of negativity from my family about my life choices. Mainly, my dad. Now, mind you, he doesn't know jack shit about what I'm doing online, simply because if he did know, he'd try everything in his power (including going as far as unplugging the internet modem), to stop me- especially if he knew I was having a bit of success. Then, he would tell me I have "no future, no options". Basically trying to spoon-feed me what he wants me to think I.E. "Get a proper 9-5 job in the "real" world".

So it's in my best interest to build up enough income to get the fuck out of this house, and get my own place. I'll be able to thrive fully by myself.

I know how you feel man. It's especially tough for me since I am in the adult niche. I can't exactly tell my parents about that lol

I am also in the gaming niche as well, however. I love gaming, so why not write about it right? It might not yield as much per click as other niches, but the sheer amount of people that like video games makes up for it!

As for your situation, once you have enough income to support yourself, you should probably tell your parents about what you're doing and then show them that you're getting successful doing it (unless you're working in the adult niche haha). They could do to things at this point:
1. Reject the idea and tell you to stop. At this point, you can just move out and prove them wrong.
2. Accept the idea and support you along the way.
Either way, it's probably recommended to tell them later on, just in case. They might reject the idea of working at home at first, but they will probably grow towards the concept later on. Gotta love the baby boomer generation :yo:

Aiiii I know this! Wait until you make more than him. They will shut up and maybe even become interested. Well if they fuck you up too bad, its best to get a job part time and get out. Untill you have enough money to go fulltime online
