I was searching the forums and noticed a lot of ppl want to grow their Twitter and still receiving "just use follow/unfollow method brah" replies.
I'm gonna start a similar project(growing a Twitter account from scratch, niche based) and I was thinking to do a case study regarding this. Though I'm not sure I will have time to start that thread so here are 10 easy tips that you should guys follow:
1) Chose wisely your name and @. Also, the PFP should be something brandable. Don't use numbers and shit, make it simple. Don't forget about your banner, pay someone to do a custom one.
2) Your pinned tweet should be golden. Most of the ppl who click on your profile will not pass that pinned tweet so make it count.
3) Be a consistent reply guy. Be smart and don't reply if you don't add any value
4) Retweets count more than you think. A lot of ppl will check your profile and if you follow 1) and 2) they will follow you
5) Connect with similar size accounts and grow together. Really, don't ignore the networking part!
6) Tag your fav @ asking them stuff. Quality q&a is the key here, don't tag them for rubbish. Also, don't tag huge accounts.
7) Proper format your tweets and use line breaks(not like I'm doing with my post here lol).
8) Don't tweet a lot when your account has few followers. The reach will be low anyway. Instead, focus on the steps above until at least 500 followers.
9) Once you have a decent amount of followers you can start posting those quality threads tweets. You will succeed since all your followers will be real and they will engage with your content.
10) ProTip: Don't do any giveaways if you don't want to have random followers who will never interact with your tweets. That's garbage and you should avoid it. Always focus on quality vs quantity
That's pretty much it. I could add tons of more tips but I will stop here for now. You need some time so don't expect you will grow very fast. Remember, you need to stay consistent in your niche until you grow a bit. Later you can always use tools to schedule multiple tweets per day/week.
Of course, you can always use the 2009 folllow/unfollow method and you will grow your account "overnight".
Good luck
