It's really strange that your website pick up the rankings this fast. Check whois history for your domain, I'm pretty sure that it has probably been registered before even if it had no backlinks. (or none picked up by commercial backlink explorers).

Yes,
It was registered previously However it had 0 backlinks and nothing on archive.org
I don't know though if this is the reason.....

Hi mirrorer, I believe this is against Amazon's T&Cs, which is why many people use $, $$, $$$ to demonstrate how expensive the product is in their comparison charts etc.

What I've been doing in past, is stating a price range, for example $300-$350. I *think* that's not against ToS, at least I haven't had any problems.

Also, since you're using VPS, make sure that your IP address and your domain don't show the same content.

I believe that since you clarify that this price is valid at the time of writing of this post you should be ok. You can ask them on chat or by email. They are always ready to help, great customer care.

They cancel accounts that dont have the same price that is listed on Amazon's site. I did this in the beginning also until I read a post where an affiliate got their account banned for it. If you get a manual review they will ban you account so it is best to use a plugin that uses their API to pull up-to-date prices.

The same goes for how many stars a product has.

Site 1 ranking (main keyword chart)


I've built few more HQ links for this website. Some web2,few pbns and some manual blog comments, however , no matter how many HQ links I build,it is stuck and dancing on 3rd page for my main keyword. I am not sure why but I guess because the website is new (approx 1 month).

Backlink structure so far for this website:


So far I wasted 44$ for domains that never got indexed but it was my fault. They had good links but as it seems they were penalized previously.

Anchor text ratio:

• I've used my main keyword 2 times only so far
• Jim = Blog comments.

So far ,only 60% of my overall links are indexed. I am not trying to push them hard in order to get indexed. I am letting serp crawlers to discover these pages naturally.

Social media experiment:

I ordered 1 controversial article from text broker,in a board niche of my website/keyword. 1500 words for $40. I asked the writer to write a catchy headline which he did.I got the article,edited the formating ,added few pictures and videos then I submitted the article to reddit. Here are some interesting facts that I discovered:

• The article on my website was indexed in 14 minutes.
  
• In the next 24h, it sends 372 visitors to my website
  
  with a total of 490 since the moment that I submitted the article to reddit
• Bounce rate from reddit visitors is very high , 95%
  
• Conversion to sales ---- 0 I sent 76 clicks to amazon with 0 conversion
  
  Those clicks were product suggestions inside the article.

Site 2 ranking:


I haven't done much on this website. Just build few blog comments (5 or so) and just 2 pbn links so far and this site is doing well. The competition is less though. Main KW for this site has 3K searches while for site 1 , 11K.

As you can see , I've put all my energy & money to site 1 which is not good at all and I should concentrate on other sites as well in order to diversify and to not get attached to 1 website

My top competitor for ns1 has 80+ pbn links while I have 14 with only 60% indexed with my backlinks.

I will wait a bit before building any new link to NS1 and will start few more money sites.

I've decided to do few changes on my plan though , since money sites are costing me a lot.

• I am going to hire a freelancer writer from Philippines or maybe order some cheap articles from BST section (3-4$/500 words max)
• I will use this content as "filler - temporary content" and see how well the website ranks and if it ranks at all.
• Once it does, I will replace it with HQ content from text broker.This way I will be able to reduce my cost to 1/3 in case that some websites don't rank.

• I plan to do the same with backlinks as well.So far I went with 1 network per 1 money site but this is costing a lot of time and money as well.I will go the same route like Alex is explaining here.
• I will build 1 main network and use it to test sites to see how and if they rank,once they do,I will move to dedicated network for each money site and remove old links slowly . This will save me lot of money for my entire plan of 10 websites.

NS 1 ranking: I am on page 2 for my main keyword




NS1 is making some money - Aprox 2-3$/day



What I've done for NS 1 so far:

I've put 2 more 1k articles on it.

• Built few more blog comments on relevant sites (mainly no-follow)
• 1 more HQ web2 (With 3 articles + 1 to add later )

Overall, I've been less aggressive with backlinks and more progressive with content.So far is working well.

NS2 Ranking:


I've been doing very slow & steady promotion with this one too.

This website is going very well and I've put 1/10 of overall efforts compared to NS1.

Since the last update,I've done only few more niche related blog comments and it is climbing slowly & steady.

NS3 and NS4. I've bought the domains for those 2 sites and made the plan.Hopefully I will have them included on my next update.

Busting some myths:

1. "Blog comments don't work anymore" - BS - If you build 1000 automated blog comments ,sure it will not help you, but if you do it slowly,manual & steady it does work very well.My tests prove that
2. "Web 2.0 don't work and don't have power anymore" - Somehow true. If you build 1 crappy web2 with 1 piece of spun content,not it wont work. However,if you build few pages,add pictures,videos,about me page good content,it works very well.Treat it like your "mini site"
3. This is the best BEST B.S for me that some gurus are talking about lately. "You have to wait 6 months to rank"

Conclusion 1: A good mix of web2, blog comments,few guest posts (can be pbn) ,HQ unique content,social media and steady approach seems to work very very well,at least for me.

Conclusion 2: Don't trust everyone ,especially people on the Internet. Instead,test things yourself and you will learn wayyyyy much more than what the gurus want you to know

What I've done so far:

• I have research and select all my main keywords for all my projected websites (12 websites so far)
• Built my first website. The main keywords for this site have from 2k to 10k searches per month.
• Bought a good domain, short and easy to spell.It looks more like a brand than EMD.
• Bought a cloud VPS on DigitalOcean for $6/month with automatic backups.
• Analyzed my competitors.In the 1st pic, you will see the number of words that each one has on the homepage.
• Deposited $250 on TextBroker and ordered my main article, 4-star writer at $125. It will be over 5000 words, twice bigger than the competitor.

To Do:

• Find a good premium WP theme
• Install all the necessary WP plugins
• Post the main article and order few more secondary articles.
• Begin with SEO

Why Am I posting this journey here?

• To learn more from you.
• To help others learn more.
• To keep me more motivated.

I will update whenever I find it necessary with my progress.

Expenses so far:

Domain: 10$
VPS: Approx: 74$/Year
MajestiSeo: 130 euros ~ 150$
TextBroker: 250$
Total: Approx: 500$ Including misc. expenses.

Income: 0$ (From this journey, I make about 1-2k$/m from another source )
