No need to be sorry mate. OBL will have an effect but at 200 to 300 I wouldn't expect horrific results. The PR could have been killing it, if you don't have lots of proxies google will start returning PR0 on every site after a while of posting, I would assume this would have the biggest effect on your link numbers tbh.

About the 15 profiles slowing it down it really shouldnt at all. Each profile currently runs in its own thread so you should be seeing the numbers you have now per profile per day roughly, obviously this is dependant on so many different factors but as I said I get more than 30 links per profile when left running for about 12 hours.

I'm seeing a confirmed rate of about 1 in 280comments / 334 trackbacks. Is this about the normal ??

I am testing the trial version.

Not really normal no, I would say 0.5-2.5% is normal, 5% is achievable if you have a good idea of what keywords work well and use a good comments file. You are seeing 0.15% which is quite low but then it is a very small sample size to draw any major conclusions from. If you are using public proxies get rid of them but it could well be your keyword list not being susceptible to being auto-approve and that will improve over time.

The best thing to do if you are unsure about things is to add in a few more profiles and get them all going at the same time, it will give you a better idea of what to expect and it won't slow the posting down, each profile runs in its own thread so if you have 5 profiles you are posting 5 links in the same time as if you had just 1 profile.

I just grabbed the trial and I think it would be better if the coders will introduce an option to remove duplicate domains.

I mean this tool finds really good related websites to place the links but this are not auto approve [ in my case about 95% ] so you need a quality comment to get your backlink approved, but if the admin sees the same general comment on a subject or a spunned version of first comment, of course your comment will get straight to SPAM.

If the tool comments only on 1 page for 1 domain the approval chances definitely goes higher for manual reviewed blogs.

Both of these are already possible. The posting once only to a unique domain option is available separately for blog comments and trackbacks in the settings tab, it should be enabled by default so you dont even need to turn it on.

The custom comments file can be allocated when adding / editing a profile. This option is available when you check the "Advanced" checkbox before clicking save it will bring up an options box with the option for a "custom comments" file. It is also available from the "Profile Handler" tab.
 
Thanks. They where not auto turned on but they are now.. I`ll test this out for a week and see how it goes but I`m really thinking to buy this stuff...

He jimbo. I just downloaded the trial and I must say this is really the easiest software to uses! Took me ~1 minute to add my site and get it started.
Anyway, I noticed in the logs it is creating backlinks to pages I don't my backlinks to go to. Like I added homepage.com and in the logs it shows that it is creating backlinks to homepage.com/privacystatement. Anyway to turn this off?

You guys are so impatient...any link takes about 6 weeks to make any difference to rankings - UNLESS you are hitting a site with 50+ links a day. When that happens Google thinks the site is going viral and accelerates your rankings fast.

Yeah you can set the crawl limit to 1 and it should stop crawling your website. You can also highlight your pages and choose to remove and never re-crawl. These options are all available in the profile handler.

It is true that links can take some time to really show their full benefit.

Not true. Just not true. I can link to a site consistently with contextual links for maybe 1 week and I will start seeing gradual rise in ranking.

No hand seo is basically creating spam on spammed pages. It works well for indexing your stuff, but I haven't seen much more use for it beyond that. I have tried it on about 10-20 pages across about 15 sites. I've been testing it for at least 6-8 weeks so far.

I also use it for building passive links to sites that I don't care about too much, but hey - maybe a few months of linking will give them some PR.

Im sure you have read the original post in this thread where LBrown is saying he/she got a website to #1 with nothing other than No Hands SEO, I think that proves that with the right website and keywords there is no reason you shouldn't be able to increase your rankings at the least.

Also it does not just spam on already spammed blogs, that is the beauty of searching out relevant websites. Obviously you will find some spammed blogs but that is why I implemented the OBL limit so you can set it to not post on blogs that have already been heavily spammed. Obviously if you are choosing to use AA lists then you are going to be targeting pre-spammed blogs which are not ideal for ranking purposes really.

There are lots of ways of using No Hands SEO to get beneficial results and lots of people are seeing this.
 
@Jimbobo - I'm new to all this SEO stuff and I currently have 1 small MNS which gets around 1300 searches per month. I was just wondering, is it safe to set NHSEO going on the website itself, or should i use it to backlink my backlinks (web 2.0, articles etc) ??

If your content is decent you shouldn't have any troubles linking directly to your money site. You can set an outbound link limit on the target pages and this will mean you get backlinks on websites that havent been spammed which increases the quality of these links.

I personally have no problems with sending links direct to my money site, some others claim this to be a bad thing though so it is not quite so black and white. You can always use it to generate links to your web2.0 and articles whilst also sending links to your main website or just use it to prop up your web2.0 and article pages.

Yeah it is always a good idea to exercise caution when doing any backlinking where you cannot control the quality of links, if you are worried just limit the links by quality and only use the high quality ones. Being penalised is normal more a case of having poor content and you are driving lots of links so your crappy site gets noticed and slapped, it is very rarely the fault of the backlinks themselves tbh.
 
Thanks Jimbo for sharing...I downloaded the trial a few days ago. So far so good. I will give a few weeks before I give it a review.
 
So let me ask, how far can you drill down?

For instance you mention that you can be specific regarding the blogs (and forums?) that you can comment on and then create custom comments.

So if my niche is dog crap, can I set a parameter to only search dog crap sites and then set my comment to something like "Wow! There is alot of great Dog Crap info here. Dog crap is changing every day, great to see that you are on top of it all!"

Is it that specific or can I make it that specific?
