1,100 Hops - 2 sales! WTF?

relax man, i had about 5k hops and 3 sales....clickbank is bit more tricky then that

There is much more help I can give, but at the moment I am in a rush , the cookie system is a definite candidate for improvement in tracking sales because off all of the anti virus and web security software that simply wipes out or resets the cookies.

I found that by changing a few things like the ones mentioned above, increased my sales three fold, and by the way, I actually tested this and went to my own affiliate link, filled in the publishers request to get my free report, read the report and clicked the link to buy, and guess what? The affiliate was getting my commission, as my own cookie from my own affiliate link simply vanished into thin air!

I once mentioned this exact same thing on the Clickbank blog comment section and guess what? Clickbank moderators deleted my post!!!! I think there is some truth to the cookies being erased and squeeze page leakage. It seems the only way to overcome this is to be a Clickbank vendor and not an affiliate.
 
If the price isn't listed on the sales page many people go to the order page to see how much it cost. To much they jet. Or go back to the search engine looking for a better deal coupon or bonus offer. This is especially the case for Internet Marketing Products.

You should be capturing emails to keep putting offer in from of their faces especially for IM products and make some kind of bonus offer. Many people don't buy on the first visit, unless your targeting keywords near the end of the buying cycle.

Good keywords

Product name
the product name domain name
product name review
product name scam

You also should be stuffing cookies with your landing page by using a i frame to the affiliate offer.

Many people read your review or presale, go back to google, and google the product name. Or worse they just type in the domain name of product in the address bar.

As far as I`m concerned you can sell just about everything online, no matter how crappy the product is. If the buyer is desperate enough, that is, and that`s where your keywords are THE most important thing. I mean, even a crappy salespage will get sales if they attract the right visitors.

In short: dude, your keywords are shait.
 
If you think you are losing commissions then you need to protect your affiliate links with something like amazingcloaker dot com. Also BHW has a section about this just type: cloaking or link cloaking in search box
 
The good thing is you had traffic now try other ways to monetize it or re work the pages etc.
Watch your traffic logs to decide if you are doing the correct changes.
 
Sorry to hear that friend, I spent many, many hours trying to make money on clickbank, in the end I had to bite the bullet and I found other other methods to make money, are clickbank skimming? who knows, but it felt that way to me.
 
same happend with me about a week ago , i choose a general term in my keyword and i got 270 clicks and it cost me like 250 and none of them convert at all .. next day i just select the main keywords like just the product name and i got 38 clicks and 2 sales :D choose the most targetted keyword for ur product don't go for general terms it will f*ck u up .. :):)
